Does the vice president of Nigeria have a right to invoke the 25th amendment to remove a sitting Nigeria president ?

I think we should have that clause in the constitution...

cool

Similar clause is in our constitution

The Federal Executive Council headed by Vice President can remove a seating President if he is considered unfit

During Yar'Adua's tenure information minister Prof Dora Akunyili asked Vice President Goodluck Jonathan to invoke the law to remove Yar'Adua.. but Northerners gave Jonathan a stern warning that if he tries it war would breakout

Do we have a 25th amendment of our constitution?

In USA, the Vice President is the senate leader which means to some extents, this 25th amendment he can invoke it especially if the member raised it together with the house rep as we they are experiencing today which is different from how our Nigerian constitution is..... the VP does not have the power to invoke or tamper with the constitution. we have senate leadership differently.

We do not have the 25th Amendment (or its variant) in our Constitution.

During the Yaradua-illness saga, the "Doctrine of Necessity" was adopted to solve the situation.

But this is a political course to cure a constitutional crisis.

If we continue to compare and contrast we go no where. We are not the same geographically and constitutionally neither are our challenges the same. We should address our country base on her peculiarity

I don't know why you people keep comparing Osinbajo with Pence, Is Nigeria America?
Are we govern by the same Constitution?
As far as Osinbajo is concerned, he is doing everything according to his constitutional power.
