There's nothing commendable about the statement from the presidency. The statement is at best hupocrital and tongue in cheek.
You can't on one hand ask people to leave Kukah to practice his religion and politics (mind you they implied Kukah's Christmas message is political and by extension call Kukah a politician) and on the other hand accuse him of greatly offending Nigerians and the presidency.
Kukah spoke the millions of voiceless Nigerians who have been raped, harrased and assaulted by the failed policies of Buhari's govt. Even Sultan of Sokoto, Col Dangiwa Umar, the NEF have in the past spoken against Buhari's ineptness and nepotism (Col Umar), why is Kukah's own so offensive to Buhari and his handlers?

What s serious and responsible govt would've done is invite the leaders of the Muslim Solidairy Forum the way it did Dr Obadiah Mailafia last year for questioning.

All the Chief Justice's of Nigeria under Jonathan were northern Muslims, same with Inspectors General of Police save for Solomon Arase who was appointed in the twilight of his administration. Is that the case with Buhari?
