Why not upgrade them, employ more staff, increase salaries etc

The existing schools have zero respect within and outside Nigeria nothing is being done to change that instead you're adding to the problem

Of all the States in Southern Nigeria, Abia has only one Fed higher Institution and it is a specialised Univ.
No Fed Poly, No Fed College, No Fed anything.

All other 16 states in the South have at least two Fed Higher Institutions.

Obj left 25 Fed Univs....At the time states that didn't have Fed Univs had a Fed Poly or at least a FCoE.(Katsina)

Jonathan came in and made sure all States had Univs...Ekiti, Bayelsa and Ebonyi (the only Southern States that didn't have before then, but had Fed Polys). Then Jigawa, Katsina, Gombe, Zamfara, Kebbi, Yobe, Kogi, Taraba, Nasarawa.

Jonathan had readied to convert the Abia State Poly to Fed during his ill-fated 2nd term. Logistics were already in motion.

Bubu has added the Fed Poly in Daura, a Fed Univ in Daura, Fed Univ in Kebbi. A FCoE in Bauchi, Benue, Ebonyi, Osun, Sokoto, and Edo.
A Fed Poly in Benue.

Abia always top WAEC results in the Country, but the State has only a specialised Fed Univ.
