Truth be told and to be fair, Awka is by far well planned and developed than Owerri. Owerri is such a disjointed town littered with bad roads. Even Awka, Abakaliki, Asaba, have all completed flyovers but Owerri is still not able to fix it infrastructures. Owerri looks like a rural area
It is a fact Awka was not an urban town in days of eastern region. At least, Abakaliki and Asaba were in the same neighborhood as Nkalagu. If I recollect correctly, Onicha was the only standard urban city in what became Anambra state.

Okada is more or less the major means of transportation in Owerri now due to bad roads
What part of Owerri?

The point is that Owerri is a mess. Umuahia is alot better than Owerri. Presently Abakaliki, Awka and Asaba are mile ahead of Owerri. The only place I rate Owerri with right now is Aba
If Onicha the only city in Ananmbra State that can be mentioned in the same sentence with Owerri in all ramification had been made the capital, it would have faced the same problems seen in Owerri.

Answer him, is that Owerri or not? Has anything changed there? No
Besides Eagle Eye approach, is there anything in the pictures that gave off Owerri? It is unfortunate certain folks act like delusional kids. However these kids must realized the forum is not exclusively created for them therefore must err on the side of intelligence.

location please I’d like to visit this place with my woman!!
I'm reading it's in Umuezukwe near the Njaba river. But I have never been so if you go take pictures, that's all I can tell you about it.

Eboh media did a 43 minute video coverage driving around Owerri which I believe is the longest so far I've seen online. The dude is really trying and I await his coverage of other major Igbo cities.

The truth is that despite the focus by the Imo state government in Owerri, it still doesn't even boast of such quality infrastructures in Abakaliki, Awka, Onitsha, Umuahia, Asaba.

Owerri shouldn't be mentioned on the same sentence with such progressive cities
It is equally unfortunate that so-called flyover is a famed infrastructural development among certain Nigerians. I had been in structural construction for long time, the so-called flyover is not one of the criteria for infrastructural development for certain cities. There are top class cities in the world without or minimal tunneled carriageway. Please for sake of posterity, could you list some of the quality infrastructures in Abakaliki, Awka, Onitsha, Umuahia and Asaba?

The Southeast should be more worried about mass transit infrastructure like rail, gas pipelines and integrated sewage. The entire region is small making it possible to live and work across States if we have high speed trains.

Bro it is unfortunate that ill-educated Nigerians tend to hyperventilate on the sight of flyover which the goons among the governors in Nigeria have noticed that it tickles the fancy of the gullible onlookers. It is all about embezzlement of fund. There is no logical or engineering conclusion to have a flyover sited in some of the cities.

The only reason you beating around the bush because Owerri has no signature infrastructure to boast with
. When Owerri tunnel was built, I could remember the hype then. Now it has been demolished because it was found to be substandard.
The only group of people who could get tipsy on seeing such crap are people in your class. The site and construct of the tunnel met no engineering criterion. The volume of traffic on the point of the tunnel does not require such infrastructure. The construction left much to desired as no visible drainage system is incorporated. The structural outlook appears like a carpentry work.

The tunnel was built and it celebrated here and it made front page several times.
I guess Nigeria is not called basket of fools for nothing.
