Popular Musician, Flavour, Tweets About Biafra by gidgiddy(op):
Highlife musician, Flavour, sent out a message to Biafrans on the 15th of January. In the message, he put pictures of Biafran Soldiers, refugees, and acknowledged them as heroes. Flavour was one of the major proponents of ENDSARS protest in the East of Nigeria. Insiders believe that his sympathies tilted towards Biafra after the Lekki toll gate shootings and subsequent clamp down on ENDSARS protesters. In his recently released album, he lamented about what happened to Igbos during the war and encouraged IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, to continue with what he is doing.

January 15th is Armed forces remembrance day. It is also the date that General Philip Effiong, the last President of Biafra, Officially handed over Biafra's surrender to General Gowon in Lagos

Today, most Igbos see that date, January 15th, as a dark day and no longer want to have anything to do with armed forces remembrance day.

We don't pray to experience any civil war again, any region, tribe or group that is not comfortable in Nigeria and want to leave, should do so quietly without bloodshed..

Flavor has always been a level headed Nwafor, he's one of the few Igbo artist that always identifies with and promotes his Igboness along with Phyno etc.

Amala and Ewedu betrayers like Awolowo are to blame for the innocent souls lost during the war. That's why no one trusts them in the entire country and this is the same way their current drug addicted warlord is planning to sell their destiny like Aphonja did with Ilorin.

Biafra will never see the of the day.
Re: Popular Musician, Flavour, Tweets About Biafra by Nobody: 3:23am On Jan 17, 2021
This is the right thing to do... I wonder why a reasonable government will shift its rememberance day so as to reflect the day they defected their enemies, and these enemies are then absorbed to form an entity called a country. Now tell me the logic:

The Victor see the day as a day of triumph over her enemy

On the other hand, the defeated see this same day as a day of sorrow where their secession dream was defeated.

I wonder who brought up the idea of moving the day from 11 Nov to 15 Jan?

I can safely assume you are not Igbo.

What you guys do here is pretend to be Igbos, cause rift and sit back to partake in the fights with your alternate monikers.

Let me quickly tell you this. We Igbos don't start fights but when it comes to us, we aren't cowards that hide behind keyboards. We fight and die defending ourselves.

I have never seen one family in Igboland today that still cry about losing their son in the biafran war but there are still many who are very proud that their sons died in the war fighting to defend their fatherland.

One of such families is my mum's. My grandpa till today boasts of his son who died in the war front.

I urge you to be proud of your region and stop this mischief.

The Armed Forces Remembrance Day also remember Nigerian soldiers who died fighting on Biafran side.

It's the appropriate date set aside to remember all those who died in the war and all other Military operations to keep the country safe.

Imagine being up by 2:15am just to be stupid. Is your stupidity hereditary or acquired?

It was the day we defeated the rebel, Ojukwu, and his band of separatists.

But The Problem Are Those Benefiting From The Present Arrangements Who Are Also The Proponents Of "The Unity Of Nigeria Is Non-negotiable". They Wont Agree Except By Force Or Even War.

Flavour my guy very proud of you. Nnamdi Kanu doing a very good job but spoiling everything with his loud mouth and arrogance I hope he will change his ways before it's too late for him.
