Our last time in Kingston few years ago,
When moving around in Jamaica,
you may need to board a bus or taxi.
However, there are times when the buses and taxis are crowded and you don't have enough space.
This is where this Jamaican expression becomes useful. 'Make room (in Nigeria pidgin language, we say shift make I siddon) but in more original Patois you say : “[b]Small up yourself man!”[/b]For real man.. Di ting ah full ah swag enuh... Small up yaself, if na group of people you fi tell dem fi (small up unu self).. Pidgin and patois addi same just a likkle differences yah and deh
