I think the deadline should be postponed until December to give people time to register.

But seriously though Nigerians need to stop this habit of leaving everything until the last minute. Since 2013, this much people have not done the NIN? 7 years?

Same way they were rushing to do BVN at the last minute

This is so ridiculous because I actually lost my NIMC printout some years ago and went to reprint yet some people didn't even attempt to register at all
who go take naija matter serious!

Don't bother yourself on this NIN issue.

I stop bothering myself, when I think about millions of northerner, did they all have their NIN?

We are talking of owner of this country, since it we affect these people & millions of them doesn't have the NIN also.

The whole scheme will die down & forgot when when the pressure start coming from part of the country.

STOP bothering yourself

what will it cost them to make a directive that if you've an existing recognized ID like international passport, Driver's license or Voter's Card make dem have portal and tell the owner to create an account and upload his or her ID and also do a Selfie to verify is the owner of the ID and you tell him to check back in next 7 working days or so for you to get is Data from the ministry wey dey in charge of the ID he submitted from there you generate him an NiN number...

This alone will go a long way
How will they be able to collect 3k from Nigerians? Lol..... This is the reason why the common man will tell you there is no Covid.

Go sit down dude.

What's the essence of registering the nonsense?

You do NIN, Voters card, Driver's licence, Intl passport, Bvn, sim reg, nysc etc.

All sorts of nonsense. No harmony at all.

And why the URGENCY in this? Did anybody give Nigeria deadline?

So why the rush?

Besides, people have been doing it since but officials frustrate them always and demand bribe too.

I did mine since 2015, yet the original isn't ready yet.

Make una continue dey suffer for nothing under sun grin

Our confused Government can't make provision for online registrations.

What about people who are sick and suffering from stroke, bedridden due to accident or incident that can't stand without assistance tell me how such people can put up with these kind of crowd

What about foreigners that came into the Country on business ventures so there lines will also be blocked

No consideration for Covid-19

Fela was right by saying "Nigerians are suffering and smiling" grin

Nigeria can't frustrate me they should block my fvcking line if they can't provide easy way of registering the NIN shit.

Shithole Corntree!

What do you expect when Aboki's are placed in every top positions

I don't even want to know the address of registering let alone going there.

And for 7 years, they couldn't squeeze one or days out prior to this absurd declaration?

if you've gotten yours on a platter of gold don't think that is how it works.
you wouldn't compare a teacher in private school, your first day is for excursion, second getting to register which won't work except you can pay or buy your way through. (you don't expect me to pay for what won't turn my life around).
everyone has a day to spare but the system is not just encouraging in any form. I don tell them na line them go first block. a centre meant to cover over a hundred of thousands using just one computer system, what would you make out of that?

I can bet my love, the whole issue of NIN registration will be stop, by the time they realize that millions of northerners will be affected.

I dare the minister to cut the line of millions of these people and his job as a minister will be cut

A number of myopic people have found a way to blame the citizens for this rush.

A government needs you to do BVN, Sim registration, NIN, Drivers License, International Passport, Bank Account Opening, Permanent Voters Card and collects THE SAME biometrics and personal information on each. Yet they cannot seem to synchronise all that data in at least 10 years! What a shame!

This thing is just not my calling. My first experience was nothing to write about.
This is what they are meant to suspend and not the postponement of schools for a whole 3 months.
Misplaced priority...

If they want to block my line I dash them I no get body except there are other ways of registering without waiting under the sun. Them go block SIM them go tire.
Must people queue like kindergartens before things can be done in this country?

Some Nigerians and fire brigade approach. NIN has been on for more than 3 years now but nobody took it serious.

Now that it becomes mandatory, it becomes an issue for many. Whatever, you go through over this, it the price you pay for being nonchalant.

Some Nigerians always like to be forced before they obey simple instruction.

Yes! We Nigerians love rush hour scene but it's still this same we that we want to collect bribe and chase innocent ones away to postpone when they will do their NIN Reg. and still still this same we that will call the Government names and it's still we that will fight ourselves all in the name of proving a point hahahaha Nigeria is in a mess.

My Advice Give birth to your kids abroad for your children's generation can be better of than yours.

Our parents failed us not tackling the governments loops holes and now our generation is trying to not to take nonsense from these government or next one with our vision via social media and what have you...

Alot has been damaged in this country I must say, you can say one good thing about the country that concern the welfare of the people.

You are right to some extent but the same Government you seem to support do have the smart facilities to make this so call rush hour registration work fine for us all.

Abi you mean to tell me they don't have the number of people who hd registered for then to give those who haven't registered a short deadline to register?? C'mon think na

They are debating on school postponement to another 3 months because of Covid and they're so tight-seated on NIN registration on such a very short notice. Misplaced priority and double standards at it's peak! It won't be well with all the wicked leaders and enemies of this country.

This country is bleeped up. Why must there be a deadline for something that’ll probably be a continuous event? Cos as far as I know people are still registering for BVN till now. Why must they have pple queue under the sun and go through rigorous stress just get a number? Whatever they’re doing at the Centre is what anyone can do at the comfort of his/her home but greed will not allow them to go that route smh ‍♂️

People that went through this same stress in 2013 only got the slip. Till today, my granny is still waiting for hers and she said she's never looking for it again. If the want to unNigeria let them do it. She can't go through that stress again. And me I can't even let her or any old memmer of my family go through that stress again.
Government will not provide what's tlneeded to hasten the process and yet will be shouting NIN up and down as if getting it is a weeks job.
