Paretomaster1:Most of you don't know what a tyrant Ahmadu Bello was. He was an open tribalist. He signed several decrees while premier of the north mandating that employers employ northerners first in our so-called One Nigeria. Why was Awolowo in prison? Funny how a group of Igbo soldiers wanted to overthrow an Igbo president in order to install a Yoruba PM but you people still say they did it for tribalist reasons. The Biafran war was the best thing to have ever happened to the Igbos. It showed the Igbo people that with a population of under 10 million, they could fight and come close to victory. It took the Nigerian govt 3 years to end the war, why are Boko Haram still running rampant after more than 10 years? Ask yourself some questions. |

tyup:What do you suggest they had done when more than 60,000 Igbos were killed in the pogrom? Go and appease the northern elders so that they'll call off their murderous thugs? |
| Re: Photos From Colonel Emmanuel Nwobosi Burial by chewwie(m): 4:41pm On Jan 18, 2021 |
Paretomaster1:Yes, Boko Haram, Fulani herdsmen are just random criminal gangs. One thing you've failed to understand is; Muslims are theocratic. They can't separate society from religion. |
| Re: Photos From Colonel Emmanuel Nwobosi Burial by chewwie(m): 4:41pm On Jan 18, 2021 |
Paretomaster1:Funny how the criminals have similar ideologies. |

gidgiddy:Well put. The civil war propelled the Igbos. It showed us who our people are and who aren't. We tasted victory in the war, and that made us great despite the systemic oppression we've been undergoing since. |

Paretomaster1:He mentions six reasons the coup happened but the only one for your justification of calling them stupid and greedy is jihad. Just know that Boko haram as an organization is Jihadist and as such if what Boko haram is doing pleases you then you are right but if not let Boko haram visit you. Amen. |

gidgiddy:But this man was small...ooo! I wander hw he partake in such a high profile national movement. In today's Nigeria, youths of his age are lying down in the cushin of their father's sitting room surfing internet with the phone their mothers bought for them. The current leaders are not helping them, they themselves are not helping themselves.SMH |

tyup:seems you don't know the history and prelude to what caused the war, there is absolutely nothing ojukwu could have done without risking a coup or worst assassin's bullets, thousands of Igbo people are been massacred in the north and the government did nothing, the aburi Accord is the first real move to restruct Nigeria, gowon agreed and signed in Ghana to come back to Nigeria to be mislead by civil servants and Britain, due to the. genocide and harsh treatment against the igbos the common sentiment is freedom,be it restructuring , confederation or secisson,if ojukwu backed down,I doubt if he will survive the next 48 hrs. |

gidgiddy:Since the "Boro militants" ceased to be part of the Nigerian Army they have never won a war. The declarations by Boro led to concrete results. Which of Biafra's declarations led to anything tangible? |

PHijo:See this one, what is Niger delta? What does it mean in your language. Was there anything called Niger Delta before the creation of Nigeria or even before the war? In a bid to separate oil producing states from Igbos and shrink their landmass after the war, they annexed half of igbo land away and created an imaginary entity called Niger delta, of which ondo state is a part of. What similarities do the people of Ondo have with the "Niger delta" None!! They changed the names of IgweOcha, Igodomigo and all other cities in the region to obscure names like Port-harcourt e.t.c What affinity do these names have with the culture of the inhabitants of that area? None!! It's just like saying that fulani people are brothers to the yorubas in Oyo state. There are Indigenous Igbos in huge quantities all over the "Niger Delta" and non-igbos as well who are united by language, culture, facial resemblance and historical ideals and then Nigeria as an entity tells them, "The Igbos are not your friends, they are not your brothers" instead "The yoruba from ondo, the Edo's are your brothers" What nonsense! The problem i have with the average black man is their inability to question the status quo. They just believe anything you tell them and gobble it down hook, line and sinker. If the Europeans propound a theory today saying that the black man is a descendant of the devil, youd see the black man not only accepting it but also rejoicing and teaching this folly in it's schools and graduating "intellectuals" who will write thesis reports on the validity of this teaching. I weep for the Africans!!! |
