Stop all this hype, Nigeria had a functional rail system since independence, it just got bad during the late 80s because of poor maintenance. 2.5 kilometres is a trekable distance, your calabar monorail never worked just like the one in portharcourt. We can have an intercity rail system because our governments dont plan their cities, we also lack the infrastructure to support them. The information you just talked about is outdated as the calabar monorail died during Dukes tenure. |

Lubumbashi:It's laughable each time I hear the flimsy and inconsequential excuse of oil well taken away from Cross River and given to Akwa Ibom. To start with, Cross River state never had any oil well apart from the offshore oil resources located in the sea of Bakassi and Cameroun. The same boundary issue that made them lose Bakassi offshore oil to Cameroon also made them lose the onshore oil resources to Akwa Ibom. Its a boundary issue. |

iamJ:Chair, North Korea better pass Nigeria in many ways. No even try south Korea, e be like space hotel compared to Nigeria. This rail Mata dun dey board since, everyday na audio improvement. Due to bad infrastructure planning, bad debt planning, no project accountability, etc. Many wishful and needed projects are good but the contractors or organizers of these projects, are all about biting in from the project budget. This type of project should be on going in all 36 states. |

forgiveness:A team lead by one mechanic looted chairs while some other touts broke as many window glasses as they could. The public address system was looted. Those are the aspects missing when we visited in December. Still awaiting government committee on assets recovery to state all that was stolen |
