Calabar's Monorail Shows A Glimpse Of Nigeria's Intracity Public Transit System by Nobody: 6:03am On Jan 19, 2021 |
It was the first Monorail transit in Africa! It was the first demonstration of intracity rail system in Nigeria. Even though the Calabar mono rail does not run through the main city itself and is only 2.5 kilometers between the Calabar International Convention center and Tinapa Resort, it offers a glimpse into what Nigeria's intracity public transit can be. It shows that Nigerian cities are capable of building efficient public transportation systems and urban city planning . 28 Likes 5 Shares
