Is this supposed to encourage or discourage people?

Why not share successes of soldiers and men on the front to increase morale. Why must it be bad news with a lot of you self?

The phone rang at about 2am or 3am, hello guy your name deh list. Only God knows how much joy flowed in the voice of the caller. He had even tried contacting me on WhatsApp but to no avail.

Since am using a torchlight phone, names saved on my gmail hardly appears when receiving a call. I apologized for not recognizing the conveyor of the glad tidings which he took no offence for.

Since I couldn't access my WhatsApp, I told him to mail it to me which he did immediately. I still called back to request for instruction and as an ever ready person, he sent it, all in the middle of the night.

Ugo4u I read how you voluntarily helped people even when you didn't make the list in the past, sometimes your acts seemed like folklore but I bear witness you are good hearted and I pray God's mercy and favour be with you all the days of your life.

It's a privilege been shortlisted with you, it would be a privilege fighting for this country by your side. And with you, inshaAllah we gonna summarise the matter in the north east once and for all.

Just incase you don't know, you just made another brother. Till we meet at Falgore, remain blessed.

After making the list, I couldn't pen an open epistle because I know I would most probably be trampling on many emotions, believe me I know how it feels because I have been there before.

Nevertheless, I give glory and adoration to his eminence the Lord of the worlds, the most merciful the most beneficent Allah swt and I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad saw is his messenger.

To those who didn't make the list, I feel your pain but please never stop trusting in God. For about 8 years I didn't make it but I still found the courage to say Alhamdulilah(praise be to Allah) on every occasion. It a tough task but learn to appreciate God in every situation.

I swear by Allah there are people on this forum that can help people but most times they are insulted by nobodies. My advice try to build positive relationships it matters alot.

Thanks I'm humbled by this piece.
It's like the army deliberately bundled their regular customers this year to the screening "maybe them don see our name tire for their application portal and they had no other option than to give us a chance".
I noticed many of the peeps shortlisted this time here are veteran applicants, I was overjoyed when I saw your name and those of others but to respect the sensibility of those here that didn't see their names I had comport myself as it was the grace of God that we saw our names for screening and not necessarily by our intellect.
The victory will be sweeter when all of us resume cadet training same time as coursemates, and Commissioned into the army, the years the cankerworms have being eating our application and the determination to succeed will be a source of inspiration to others not to give up on their dreams no matter the odds. God that have started this will see us through.

Making the list is one thing, having a successful screening is another thing.

Screening is the major hurdle. I wish you all the best.

Hello all,

And to the DSSC applicants, trust you are all gearing up for the upcoming screening.

A quick one, is it logical to make just 4 copies of relevant credentials and documents as no specific number of copies was mentioned in the instructions?

My reason for suggesting 4 copies was because the instruction that was released pertaining full photograph in suit mentioned 4 copies, so I thought it could go for documents photocopy as well.

Another thing, how many pair of neutral clothes is it recommend to take along, maybe for Friday prayer
and Sunday service. I am looking at just two pairs should suffice.

Physical test, you all should prepare adequately for extreme physical test, the regular 3.2km run, sits up, push up, beam heave etc should be expected.

It may be required of applicant to trek long distance as well, in a nutshell, be mentally prepared.

Lastly, SSC candidates in falgore, if you are opportune to come to this page, kindly drop any relevant info or hints for the DSSC candidates on what they might have overlooked for the preparation showdown, maybe something that you might have also overlook but you think it is important they should know before joining you guys there.

Victory comes from God alone.

I'm in camp right now, zero ur mind it's no longer 3.2km race but 30km....were goin to run our race very early tomao morning as soon as d medical results is announced.
The executive commission run theirs today.

Take note, don't even bother to bring glo sim, Airtel nd mtb will suffice but the network sometimes comes like wind... you'll have to go farther away from d forest into d bush bfr u get network.
