President Muhammadu Buhari warmly welcomes inauguration of Vice President Joe Biden and Sen. Kamala Harris as President and Vice President of the United States of America on Wednesday, expressing hope that their presidency will mark a strong point of cooperation and support for Nigeria as well as the African continent.

President Buhari congratulates the leaders, and entire country on the successful transition, which marks an important historical inflection point for democracy as a system of government and for the global community as a whole.

“We look forward to the Biden presidency with great hope and optimism for strengthening of existing cordial relationships, working together to tackle global terrorism, climate change, poverty and improvement of economic ties and expansion of trade.

“We hope that this will be an era of great positivity between our two nations, as we jointly address issues of mutual interest,” the President added.

President Buhari and all Nigerians rejoice with President Joe Biden, sharing the proud feeling that the first woman elected Vice President of the United States has an African and Asian ancestry.

The bond between North America and Europe is the bedrock of our security, and a strong NATO is good for both North America and Europe. For more than seventy years, our transatlantic Alliance has guaranteed freedom, peace, and security for our people. U.S. leadership remains essential as we work together to protect our democracies, our values and the rules-based international order.

NATO Allies need to stand together to address the security consequences of the rise of China, the threat of terrorism, including in Afghanistan and Iraq, and a more assertive Russia. None of us can face these challenges alone, but together in NATO, we represent one billion people, and half of the world’s military and economic might.

Prior to US election, some clowns were all over the social media praying for Trump's victory over Biden on the ground that Biden and Barrack Obama share same mission. And such missions were remotely linked to Buhari's mission in Nigeria.

Few days after the election which favoured Biden, same unstable clowns made a very sharp U-turn throwing all manners of insult at Trump and likening same Trump to Buhari.

With this congratulatory message from Buhari, I have no doubt same unstable crude beings will now automatically be the ones that "voted" Biden against Buhari's wishes and therefore Buhari has no gut to congratulate.

I mean those same beings who had "championed" the election of Trump.
