My phone seems to be having some charging issues , some chargers work and some don't , I have to press the charger in for a while before it starts charging , it's a type c charging port yet it's only charging one way

I read online that it might be dirt clogged in the charging port , I tried cleaning but still same issues . Is there any fix to this ?

Or I have to replace the charging port ? I'm scared because I don't want this engineers to spoil the phone when trying to fix the charging port

also try this, go buy new age type c USB cable
remember,new age USB,it costs around 800naira
type c charging port are somehow and it may depend on the USB mouth
go buy that new age USB first,there is picture of okocha on the paper,its original quality

type c charging port can be easily replaced,it's like removing memory card and inserting another one

go to a reputable engineer place,I mean reputable ooo.and tell them u want to change it
or u can order for another one online

USB type c port are easy to replace
u can even order for one online and change it yourself
well it's only a matter of time before that one starts acting up too
later

Madam you might have to change your full charging board cause changing just the port is a temporary fix. Problem will now be where to find pixel charging board.

has hairline crack but going strong,not that pretty but I don't think it's pretty u care about right now
3gb ram 32gb internal 4g 5.2" inch HD screen
4000mah battery,now this phone battery is a beast playing games and browsing with internet uses 70% in 12 hours and it charges fast.just use new age chargers
the USB is normal USB not that type c rubbish
I will take that phone off your hand with 18k and we have a deal
this phone lasts and the camera is ok
at least for the meantime u can manage it

what are u saying like WTF! type c port is the real deal now. Even Apple has started tapping into type c technology. Type c is really good and very soon every manufacturer would use it on all their smartphones. micro USB port is old fashioned and doesn't perform up to type c. there are many phones with faulty micro USB ports. several people complain about it. it's not a type c port problem. pls always find out about something before making conclusions. my current phone uses a type c port and even my former phone had it still I had no probs with charging. I'll never buy any phone with micro USB port... never going back to old technology. it's even so ridiculous that transsion phones are still using micro USB ports at this point even in their flagship phones and mid-range phones
