There is no electricity in this place which is much needed by me for constant communication, media use, charging flashlight etc. so I always go with my solar charger.

This post is just the first phase. I will be updating/creating new post with more details and other experiences at the farm. Experiences like the many snakes we came across (necessary for the survival of nairaland)

From the perspective of a city person who went into the bush for farming, I can confirm to you that Herders-former issue in Nigeria is very real and a very ugly setback to the development of agriculture and peace in Nigeria. When you read about it, it may not really feel like much. But
I've personally had experiences and loses.

U are a really prepare investor,could U say U yur farm was successful,yield,ROI? And how did U deal with challenge of birds?

Rice farming isn't without its challenges and risks. last year we lost a major part of our investment to the floods. (the Cameroon dam issue) birds are not really an as long as you do your operations on time without leaving much exposed seed.
In the long run, untill I hear God say go elsewhere, I'll continue Rice farming
