Good day nairalanders. I'm here to share my Zuma Rock tour experience with you. Please stay tuned as I keep you updated with pictures.

Today was my off day from work so I and some of my friends decided to go mountain climbing and also explore the wonders of Zuma Rock. There are lots of myths and legends concerning this Rock, some of which instills fear on people thereby making them not go too close to the Rock. But with a lot of courage, we were able to go very close enough to even touch it. Yes, we touched it, and even climbed it's side to an extent. It's impossible to climb the front without appropriate tools. The silence we experienced there was something else.

We started by climbing this mountain just at the back of my neighborhood. Took this picture halfway to the top of the mountain. The city behind is Suleja, where I stay. This mountain is called Kwankwashe mountain. It took us about 25mins to climb to the top.

That's the view from the top of the mountain, thereafter we proceeded to climb the prayer mountain.

That's the top of the prayer mountain. We actually met some people praying here.

Descending from the prayer mountain and advancing towards Zuma Rock, which is already visible from here. It took another 25 mins to actually get to the ground.

Finally at the ground level, proceeding towards Zuma Rock now. Pls pardon the photo quality.

Finally gotten to the base of Zuma Rock..the view is very breathtaking in real life.

We've always heard people say that Zuma Rock has a face so we set out(walked round the rock) to find it..and guess what, we found it. This is really amazing.

So we decided to climb it's side, and this was the highest we could go. Trust me, it's very steepy and dangerous. It took a lot of courage to get this high.

We actually saw lots of monkeys here. They all ran up on seeing us. With a height of about 725m about the ground, Zuma Rock is indeed a sight to behold.

A niqqa like me is scared of heights, the only reason I would climb that high is if am really blazed
