Beauty entreprenuer, Kiki Osinbajo has advised people not to take offence when friends don't support their business, Igbere TV reports.

The Vice President's daughter stated this on her Instagram, adding that success is sweeter when strangers trust you with their money.

"Don't be offended when people you know don't support your business. The success is sweeter because you converted people who don't know you to people who trust you with their money." she said.

Its not a must to get patronage from some people u know because they are destiny killers. Some na to come help u calculate the profit wey u dey make and when they perceive u re okay, they won't want to pay u.

Though I feel people are more inclined to patronize any business that gives them value for their money. People are sentimental about many things but they easily get very practical when it comes to spending their money. So if your business gives your friends and family value for their money, they'd naturally be drawn towards you. Don't expect people to patronize you just cause they're your friends. That's not marketing, that's emotional blackmail. First, they'd have to have need for your product. Second, you need to appreciate the fact that giving you thier money in exchange for your product is a form of business for them, their own business. And they'd gladly do it with you if both parties' interests are protected.
