Federal government can take your land if they want to.

All lands in Nigeria has a lease agreement of 99 years. Also you pay property tax, failure to pay, the government can cease your property.

No land belongs to anyone as long as you live under Nigeria

All land belong to Government, not Federal Government.
Power to authorise use of all lands lies in under the State Government, not Federal Government, except for FCT.

That land belongs to Government does not mean occupancy belongs to Goverment. Communities and individuals have occupancy rights over all lands, including forests. So even the Government has to pay for those occupancy rights before using land for projects.
Lands belonging to Goverment, is a clause specifically coined for ownership of minerals, not land occupancy and use.

You cannot just walk into a community or place and claim occupancy over lands they have farmed or hunted for centuries. There are no free lands in Nigeria.

You want land, you pay the current occupant to cede his rights to you, if he or she is willing, and then go to the state Governor for affirmation of your new occupancy, in the form of CofO, without which you trade in Occupancy is undocumented. Only Traditional Occupancy rights spanning ages is recognised outside those awarded by a State Governor.
