Hello nairalanders,
I have a friend who often complain whenever he indulges in any physical activity e.g running,lifting objects or a stressful action.He often complains of feeling weak in his right groin and after a visit to the doctor he was diagnosed of having an Inguinal hernia this led to a bulge in his lower right abdomen,also accounting for his discomfort whenever he engages in stressful activities

please is an Inguinal hernia a disability,can someone who has an Inguinal hernia participate in activities like running,playing football or lifting weights without resulting to life threatening consequences.

Activities such as running,playing football ,lifting weights and even coughing can cause increased intra abdominal pressure which forces the hernia to be prominent. Other times it can becomes painful.

Yes after proper healing must have taken place.

It seems the guy is a sports man.

Sports also increases the chances of having hernias.
