Hence the garbage that comes with taking alcohol, because it's the counterfeit and hence of inferior quality when compared to the Original which is the Holy Spirit. That's why the difference was clearly distinguished in those sayings, and the advise not to be drunk with alcohol but with the Spirit of God, because the difference is very clear. Hence every Christian ought to be filled with the Spirit of God and not alcohol. And when one has the Spirit of God, he wouldn't need alcohol for anything, because any good thing alcohol could give to him, the Spirit of God would give him more of it, and even those good things alcohol lacks and cannot give, like the power to heal the sick, cast out devils, raise the dead, cure the lepers etc. So why would a Spirit-filled Christian want to get high on the counterfeit, when he's already got the Original in the person of the Holy Spirit?

7. It causes spiritual drowsiness.

It makes people to fall asleep and not watch as Jesus had commanded us to do, and that would be one of the reasons many would not be prepared and miss the rapture or His second coming.

And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

Matthew 24:48-51 (KJV)

But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;

There is nothing like alcoholic or non alcoholic wine!
Alcoholic beverages we have include:
Beer, wine and spirit.
Eva and pure heaven is not wine. They are simply grape juice. Saying non alcoholic wine is like saying non alcoholic beer. Pls make research before you say certain things in public.

All natural occurring wine contains alcohol(wine gotten from fermented fruits) because fermentation involves the breaking down of sugary substance to an alkanol(normally ethanol) and Water

The concept of WINE is an alcoholic drink, but those of u who by your own rights don't like alcohol began to twist it into "non-alcoholic wine" which is just juice. In whatever you eat in this life moderation is the key and that's why gluttony is bad. Even to drink excess malt is bad.

though a Christian should not get drunk, the Bible also calls drinking in absolute moderation a blessing. don't be baised in translating the word of God. there are countless passages on the goodness of wine.

These traditions or commands spoke off in the old testament are actually Jewish. By practicing them, shows we give credence to Judaism. It beats me to see that our pastors, choose the ones that profits them keep silent on others. They pick tithe being paid to the church and leave out how the bible says tithes should be used. They pick the part which condem dunkiness, and leave out where Jesus him self spoke of his drinking. They leave out the practice of blood sacrifice and choose money sacrifice. If Jesus has paid the price and given him self for us inorder to deliver us from the curse of the law why then do we still subject our selves to the laws given in the old testatment (Hebrews 7)
