Union bank is my primary account. I had to start using Union Bank in 2014 when I won nnpc/chevron scholarship as they only pay through union bank. It was a rough ride at first but since we bent our horse from his vertical position to start facing front, everything has been going smoothly.

I'm interested.

I want to diversify.

Please, Access Bank is not able to manage its customers with the Diamond Bank counterparts it bought last year. They've been doing reckless deductions from their customers instead.

Someone approached me last week, he says I should advice him between First Bank and Access bank where to open an account. I suggested Access Bank, but on a second thought after recalling their daily robbery, I called back the guy and told him not to open an account with those banks. I rather suggested two different banks to him althogether.

Anyway, They are scaling down after an expansion that saw Atlas Mara misjudge competition in Africa and overpay for acquisitions.

They are going to sell some of their banking asset in some part of Africa to access bank and a Kenyan bank.

Reality is AFRICA IS BAD FOR WESTERN INVESTORS

I use the same Access bank but am ok with their services, no unnecessary deduction. Oga, let's say it as it is pls. Stop all this pull down syndrome cause it won't take u anywhere.

Funny enough, Union bank has the highest paying staff as graduate startup. It is a bank that has full security. They hardly sack or downsize their staff.

Atlas mara are not selling union bank stake .. rather they co founder wants to sell his own stake in Zimbabwe , Botswana and one other African country .. simply because he has left atlas mara ... their Nigerian stake still dey gidigbam .... according to Bloomberg

I doubt that... Access bank executive trainee earn more than them... in term of security, yes I strongly agree with you .... overall they are not bad working with but I still wonder if any customer still show up in their banking hall

Seems you've not been to any Union Bank branch lately. The bank is fully re-branded and their services topnotch. I have accounts in about 5 Nigerian banks but Union Bank does the magic for me. I'll choose it over most if not all of the so called new generation banks.
