It is discriminatory.

Now what happens to the policeman who impregnates a woman within the stipulated period?

What if women choose not to join the police force? Even the police girls are not safe in the company of policemen. They get sexually harassed all the time by their male colleagues.

That law must be repealed.
pls shut da fvck up! Police women harassed by their male counterparts? Infact, sew your mouth

Would she have been sacked if she was married?
yes she would have been if she enlisted into the force less than two years ago. Nobody ticks the married box, one of the criteria during screening is that you must not be married. Hence you have to hide your status till after your two years compulsory period before applying for marriage approval
Re: Why Ekiti Police Sacked Pregnant Policewoman by Pacesetter123(m): 9:15pm On Jan 28, 2021
jedisco:
Then that's discriminatory.

Would she have been sacked if she was married?
Yes,she wud av still bin sacked. The law says three years after passing out from college before being a mother. So in this case, she is only 8 months old in service n get pregnant. So even if she was married n get pregnant just 8 months after graduation, she should have still been dismissed.

Do you ask yourself the whole essence of applying it if not to prevent pregnancy.

Unbelievable. I find it difficult to believe that a woman would loose her job for being pregnant.

Is being pregnant a new crime in Nigeria? This is murder.
Give me a break.

Police officers all over Nigeria are illegally stealing government money, killing thousands of people annually and still keep their jobs.

And she lost her job trying to bear a child. Very childish at best.

The problem this pregnant woman faces now is Nigeria does not have a good judicial system where she can seek remedy for the injustice meted on her by this cruel police department.

You have got to hate Nigeria!
you are just ranting. Did she not read the rules in college? Was she forced to accept? Did she not swear to abide by all rules and regulations? I hate nonsense. You do something on purpose and then start crying blue murder

She want to leave the NPF in disguise I bet she did that intentionally after seeing the rot in the system and perhaps there are rules that will not grant her resignation hence she played a smart card.

Doesn't make sense. That's discriminatory against unmarried people. If not, male policemen who fornicate or are caugh in adultery should also be dismissed

Komu1048,

Please get her on the phone with me right now. With Covid19 still raging across the world, you know this pregnant woman needs a job to pay rent, take care of herself and put food on the table.

NPF knows that. I still think she is mistreated. And I hope some good samaritan out there will step forward to help her to bring her unborn to the earth safely.

Police are our heroes!

That means the law will only limit women because their counter can impregnate someone without the knowledge of HQ
I think we should not interpret the law out of context. If I understand the CP, the law is all about the effect of pregnancy on post graduation training in the specified period on women. A pregnant woman is limited on many things due to issues associated with pregnancy, both physical and psychological. From that point of view, it is difficult to effect it on men.
Re: Why Ekiti Police Sacked Pregnant Policewoman by TheVictim01(m): 6:50am On Jan 29, 2021
Abeggi, calm your down mbok. The same thing applies to the male counterparts, if a woman even ACCUSE him of raping. For it is a believe that women can't commit such a heinous act, this in my terms justify it. Her case is ACTUALITY but for a man, it needs not but be IMAGINARY.

Which one is -get her on the phone. If you want to help her, ekiti is not too far. Locate the address you will get her n help her, that's if you are not all those audio philanthropist.

Mind you, she knows what she was getting herself into, but yet spreading leg anyhow. She just wasted another person slot. I know a girl in my area that had applied like 3times for NPF, she was even begging me if I know someone that can help her but she wasn’t pick. But this farm tool can't even close her leg for a month.

Repealed?

Gazette?

We might need to established the meaning of those words as it relates to the NPF before the media trials start.

You see one of the many disadvantages of FORNICATION right? smiley

Instead of Constable Olajide Omolola to concentrate immensely on her post-trainning experience in the field, she chose to dedicate her time to "POST-PENIIS" experience in the bed.

Not only has she lost her job, but she was booted out in an unceremonious manner all because of her unceasing appetite for PENIIS.
