On the bolded, I believe what you are saying is $15 subscription X 17m HBOMax subscribers = $255m....Which is actually correct as the studio has recovered it's initial budget.

It's not common sense, you are only using this analogy to suite your narrative.

You are helping me buttress my point with the bolded, you think $15 x 17m sub = 255m and wahm! WB will just take it to cover the cost of production for #WW84? It's only #WW84 that's on offer on HBO Max right?. You won't see "streaming fees made on a movie" because nobody actually knows like you said, they are alot that goes into it, paying of the prod. companies etc. The only way this your "mathematics" would have worked would be if it was done the way Disney did Mulan by offering it at an exclusive pass fee barring whether you have an active Disney+ sub or not, then you would know all the exclusive pass fees are going to the movie directly, this wasn't the case for #WW84.

So except you have insider info that WB directly got $255m from streaming #WW84, i will suggest you refrain from horse wishing and accept reality.

lol you can make $255M from streaming alone inside a month and yet big companies are running away from streaming their big budget movies.
