I'm a student In my final year. Last year, due to the outbreak of the pandemic couple with ASUU strike, everything came to a halt including businesses, sadly many of us were affected!

I decided to venture into mini importation business to keep myself busy and be productive, afterall as little as 10-15k could be used as a start-up capital.

The first attempt was successful and I made some profit after using different means such as house to house hawking and advert on WhatsApp status to sell my goods, this motivated me to give it another try.

Now the second attempt in the business came with challenges. First, the shipping company lost some of my goods (a few wristwatches, which unfortunately I collected money in advance from customers to purchase) and they are yet to account for them till now- a huge loss on my part. Secondly, i have only sold just two pieces of the remaining goods at hand (water purifier, wallpaper Clock and hair booster oil) before resumption to school was announced!

I need help! Right now, the business has folded up because I had to use the money realised from the few water purifier sold to settle the customers i collected money from in purchasing the missing wristwatches, pending when the shipping company would refund me which of course is very unlikely, as they are no longer replying my messages neither is the agent that helped me purchase the goods replying hers too!!

The reason for creating this post is to search for buyers, i know this could put me in a disadvantage position. Right now i have five pieces of water purifier, two pieces of Wallpaper clock and two natural hair booster oil available for sale, i need buyers as i will be returning to school soon. I can waybill these items to your location in Nigeria, i reside in Lagos State though.

I wouldn't mind if anyone who has a knowledge on facebook ads can as well help me out in running it at an affordable fee.

At least if i can sell them, i will use the money to assist myself financially in school, learn from my business experience and perhaps give business another attempt in the future.

The prices are:
1.water purifier =₦8000
2. wallpaper Clock= ₦4000
3. Hair booster oil = ₦1,500

My contact is 07048783980. Thank you all.

Include the prices.
This is also a form of advert

If you know the physical address of the shipping company you should pursue them to recover your money, they're liable for the loss of your goods

Thank you sir. Actually i do know their physical address, i went there to pick the goods myself! Where the problem lies is that the agent that sent the goods through them is no longer replying my messages. I felt she should be at the forefront, reason i have not gone there to make a scene.

Besides, she was always assuring me that the issue was being taken care of until recently that she stopped updating me.

I will do what you said, thank you.
