I don't know how Nigerians think that a professor and a retired soldier without any of them having any business experience can plant money growing trees. You left two business moguls for salary earners. Do u expect them to establish businesses for Nigeria?
The truth is, most countries grow by business. Establishing businesses especially manufacturing and processing businesses helps to create jobs, reduce importation, stabilize the economy and everyone would have something meaningful doing instead of engaging in yahoo yahoo, kidnapping and armed robbery.
As a matter of fact, I don't expect anything positive from those guys, so I'm not surprise as prices of goods keep rising. The country has failed already. Division is the best for me, let everyone go manage himself.
The painful thing is that most of this tax deductions are from southerners. How many Fulani sabi road to bank?

See my sweat, yet I don't have electricity, no good roads, I was at Osogbo last year, almost all the FG roads that leads to the place is wack. I almost wept that at this stage in life, Nigerians still battle poor roads.

I still don't have security. At my place where we live, we had to opt for private security arrangements and we started paying for it.

I still don't have water. We dig borehole and use bottle water for drinking.

I still have to use fuel to power my generator in order to have sufficient electricity. My fueling money on yearly bases in crazy. That is just my house o.

Education is still poor. Very poor. U have to pay heavily to enjoy quality education. So, why do our leaders now take our money in the name of tax?

We are so cheated in Nigeria. It is so unfair to be born as a Nigerian. Sometimes I ask if there is truly a God becus Nigerians have gone thru hell.

Nothing works anymore.

Yet we don't see the benefits of our tax, sometimes I actually wonder why we still have a government if at the end of the day the government only ends up making majority of it's citizens poorer year in year out, the purpose of having a government is to improve the lives and security of it's citizens, but in Nigeria the reverse is the case, sometimes I actually feel we should just privatize the government here and only pay for services that they offer 100%, anything short of 100% citizens won't pay....

A government that cares for this country will divert some of the money in building refineries......
If one man called Dangote can build refinery from the loan he collected,then why can't a country like Nigeria build such rather than spending so much on subsidy.

I teach igsce physics and mathematics online and am being paid well, so paying back is not a problem, I also want the payment to be spread for like 4 months so it won't be a burden to me, I don't want to use loan app even tho i have a good credit score of 150k with fairmoney, because their interest rate is just too high and will be a burden to me in the future.... I stay in lagos and ready to meet to sign an undertaken

The people are not united to start with the basics. So the government exploit that to their own advantage. Again, those who claim to know about the 'Social Contract' of a thing lacks the balls to change the status quo, our politics have been talks, talks, talks and many talks with next to nothing to effect the needed change the society craves for..
