Madam you don't have to be in Nigeria to file a transition dispute, if you're in the west that even give you better opportunity to get your money back, as far it is not cash transaction. If she received the money through bank you have a case, you can call the receiving bank once you have the individual information. I hope the lady is reading this as well, if she dose not came out to tell her own part of the story; taking this action will do tremendous damage to her business reputation and banking opportunity.

In my last project I bought 5mm glass for all the windows and the guy who assembled was like you're getting this quality because you got materials yourself.
Most materials sellers don’t even retail 5mm glass.

You still need your fabricator to do this. You just need to let him understand why you’re taking that approach.

Don’t go to market and buy stuffs yourself. A client was made to buy 20 packets of drilling bits for a 39 window project.m whereas they use only 1 piece for the whole job. The bulk of the materials were stolen.

You’ll need someone with experience to work with you on this.

Before now, I pay people to do stuffs for me until 2013 when I paid my window fabricator to do a window and he travelled to Mecca
Next thing, the client started dragging me over window.
I didn’t have issues building the whole house from foundation to roofing within 40 days. The windows took almost 30 days.

The guy kept showing same materials to almost 5 different contractors and we all believed our work is ongoing

What I do now is to buy all my materials, take them to site and get fabricators to come and assemble and install on site. There’s nothing they need that I can’t/won’t provide.

I have some windows as wide as 5m on the project.

We digged septic tank and Soakaway for 6 flats. 3 flats with one septic tank, the other flat with one Septic Tank. And one central Soakaway and we channeled the bathroom and kitchen water to the Soakaway. Within 6 months. The two septic tank Got Filled and the Soakaway. After, we discharged the Septic Tank. We disconnected, the bathroom and kitchen water of 4 flats. But, to my surprise. Within 4 months the septic tank got Filled again.

What could be the problem

What's the depth of the soakaway/septic tank?

Did you completely cast the floor of the soakaway pit?

I’m not selling cement though so if you get where you’ll get official rate supplied to you and payment received on site, I’d say jump at the offer.

We plenty there. One of the directors in the Ministry of Housing is the engineer in charge.

The project is a direct labour contract so projects is awarded to many contractors.

Those were made-to-order. I’m a consultant on the project and we agreed to go with steel shutters due to the size of the project. 4 units of 30 mini flats.

My steel panel aren’t ready for Lagos yet. I’m just making a new set (200 panels) and they won’t likely be ready until end of February.

45k for a duplex with (A.S.E.M), ok o, I rather do it free of charge and have peace of mind than go that low, how much does it cost to print, bind and stamp 4 copies. well....

me too i was shocked when i saw that price. Printing alone could cost up to 20k what about the expertise put into the design, the concept etc. structural design that comes less than 100k should be questioned because the calculations involved for each and every support of the building members self. As a structural engineer even a copy paste job isn't for amateurs let alone a fresh one.

okay let me tell u a little secret, most architects and engineers have apprentices, alot of thempr even IT students. They need them for clients like your neighbor that like to underpay. My CEO is a masters degree holder in civil engineering, he's like a god in this job he will never, I repeat never sit on his chair to analyze any job that isn't worth it when there alot of important steel jobs waiting to be touch. Even I won't bother, so such jobs are pushed down for the boyz to practice then checked by the engineer and the errors corrected, is that what you want? When u engage a professional, pay him well for his job and you will get your money worth. If that was how you are being paid in ur own job u won't be able to afford the drawingsinthe first place.

That quotation is Abuja price but you can negotiate the 1200 x 1400 to 55k and some other more that you discover that the price is too high for you
