When will Heartland do something like this?
Re: Akwa Ibom Begins Onions Cultivation (Photos) by pat077: 2:00pm On Feb 01, 2021
Good initiative. More of this is needed across all the southern state. Enough of dependency on food from North. The south has better weather and more fertile soil for commercial agriculture.

Is their land fertile enough to make a good produce?
This is 2021. All lands can be made fertile. Besides, there is something called fertilizer that has been used for centuries.

Hotels and olosho brothels are enough revenue generating options for them. Don't complicate if further by adding agriculture.

Where there is no vision, people perish. Kudos to Ikwa Ibom state government ably lead by Udom Emmanuel.

Okay so I'm beginning to like this man. He doesn't think like your typical African leader. I'm not an ibomite, but I feel that this man is the best governor we currently have in Nigeria.

The south should stop competing with the North. Agriculture is North and North is Agriculture, If it is not Northern Onions please forget it. We are proud to be feeding the whole Nation.
In those days, the west was known for Agriculture n since oil discovery n education.. the west deviated from Agriculture.
So if we decide to take it back... It's now... And we will get there n produce n consume instead of depending on produce from the north

The south has more fertile land than the north. The only problem is that there are few selective crops that do not need too much water, so it's best to plant a yearly harvest during dry season.

Good suggestion that will make southern states have footing in the cattle business..

That will even checkmate the noise we are getting from the fulani over cattle.\

The fulani have use cattle for political, economic and social blackmail spearheaded by their kinsmen who happen to be the current President of Nigeria, Major General Muhammadu Buhari ( rtd )

AKWA IBOM has been showing positive impact in Nigeria GDP since beginning of this year 2021. Last week, a company showed interest in the state to commence processing and exporting bamboo trees to America.

This will contribute a significant to Nigeria GDP.
Yeah you are right

Even a kid knows that the brain & tongue doesn't work like a simple electric plug & socket.
Your understanding of things is so mediocre & I am not still impressed.
You're the youths of tomorrow, yet you offer your only tool is speaking against the mediocrity of your government (social media) just for peanuts
And you're here replying to all comments on your thread about mediocrity.
See you're not doing well
Las Las you should be directing this energy to bombing hard rather than lick your politicians balls for peanuts.
Besides why are all your politicians building hotels & relaxation spots
Mediocrity cheesy
