Arteta no read game well at all. His decision to bring in Auba is very very wrong.

If he must take off Pepe, then he should've brought in a player in the mould of Martinelli who will hard press and very fast.
exactly. He just thought about the goal auba brings, he didn't think of the work rate.

Now we playing 8 against 11 cos auba na -1

Arteta made this team "Paper Tiger".

Watch as they crawl back to their favourite 14th position.

Arsenal racking REDs up without been dirty.

Arteta's inexperience showed in the final outcome of the match, although our players also need to be more disciplined

Now Leo's straight red card leaves us with Runnarson Manning the post for the next 3 matches. I really don't want to imagine how that will turnout

You don't want Matt Ryan as your starting GK, man was so poor at Brighton.

Nah!

Matt Ryan is ahead of him.
He was supposed to be our 2nd keeper against man u, till injury during warm up.

Hopefully he'll be back against Aston Villa

Since David Luiz signed for Arsenal in August 2019:

3⃣ red cards
6⃣ penalties conceded

• No other Premier League player has received more than 2 red cards or conceded more than 3 penalties

And Arteta will still renew his contract at the end of the season

This is what I was saying that day. Seeing how erratic Luiz was last season and how them mustafi, Papasthapopulous and Chambers were unreliable in the past, it is understandable and justifiable that Arteta sought to strengthen our defensive options when he did

I know Luiz can be erratic, but would you really blame him for this red??

This I'll never understand...
Luiz like Xhaka can be good for 4/5 games but will round it off with their erratic display.

Not reliable...
Not Top4 Material...
Not Top Trophy Material...

I know everyone will want to blame Luiz for the red, even though that situation can happen to anyone. I guess it's just his reputation and nothing else.

Was it a foul? Yes
Was Luiz erratic? No

So why the blame on something that's so harsh on him..
I guess it's because his name is Luiz

What about the manager that still plays them week in week out?

Is it due to favoritism? Stubbornness? Inexperience?

If it’s a young player getting game time and making errors, at least there would be hope of growth in their game. Does he plan to improve an almost 30y/o xhaka? Or a 30+ Luiz?

In fact you are asking questions I've been begging for answers.

Good thing is that Luiz is out for 3 straight match.

At least we can go back to our Gabriel-holding and see what they can offer

Bros VAR was consulted and it corroborated the ref's judgement ; Luiz fouled a player who was through on goal. Who would you rather blame na? Is it the player that was fouled?

like I said, I agree it was a foul, but I don't agree he was erratic.

The reply I watched over and over again, Luiz tried not to tackle the player. It can happen to anyone, cos it was the player who clipped Luiz leg and fell not even the other way round

Too many average players have been the bane of this club for a long time now. We can’t keep doing the same thing and expecting a different result or a sudden miracle.

Most of our players are so average and wouldn’t even get into the starting eleven of top clubs. The manager, the board, the owner are aware of this. But they keep persisting with them for reasons best known to them or probably they get blinded by a few good performances.
I will prefer to watch a team of youngsters giving their best than these over hyped, over paid players. If we don’t change our recruitment strategy and keep hoping that our average players suddenly become world beaters, I’m afraid the club is/would be heading in a downward spiral.

The problem here is that u saying what u think I said ( which of course I didn't)

You asked if I blame Luiz for the foul and I answered in the affirmative ( because from what I saw, without contact from him VAR would've ruled the foul out and the ref awarding yellow card to the wolves guy for diving)

Someone brought out a stat showing Luiz prior to this game has had 2 red cards and given away 5 penalties. Knowing fully well on his best days Luiz can give man of the match performance while on his bad days he can be as poor as anything ; now tell me is that not worth being described as erratic?

If u read my posts again u will see that I only blamed him for the foul, but didn't say he was erratic in this very match.

You've said All I've been saying, in fact we're on the same Watsaap group...
Personally, the highest I see Arsenal finishing in the league is an Europa spot I.e 5-7/8...
Saka alone can't carry this team,
