Spy360:That Luiz red card was an overkill!!! It was an unintentional contact and while I don’t question the penalty, the red card was absolutely unnecessary! It just changed the direction of the game. Hard loss.. a very hard loss.. I have been WAILING all afternoon/ evening.. I am in SEFIA PAINS!!! |

Spy360:At least Fkhalifa is very consistent. But the way some monikers will just pop up after every loss and yarn eh is just so frustrating. Arsenal might go on a 10 match winning run, you won't see them, the moment arsenal lose one, you'll see all of them come out and start preaching epistles of how none of our squad can make top 6 teams. It's just so disgusting to say the least. |

Roland17:This has been my opinion all night long. If there was no var, I wouldn't blame the ref one bit, cos looking at it from afar, you'll feel like killing Luiz. But var was brought for situations like this and if they can still brandish red card for such a decision, then it's like there's no need of var. In fact, remembering saka penalty incidence even make me more angry with var sef |

any arsenal fan that watched this arsenal vs wolves match and still belive that a player or the coach is the reason for this defeat should better still find a new club to support because now its so obvious that you have an agenda against the club ![]() |

Arsenal didn't lose scandalously with short 3 The winning goal was a one in thousand shots that could not enter |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Jodera: 8:24am On Feb 03, 2021 |
kodded:some people here get agenda. Xhaka is playing well, yet someone is saying give xhaka 4-5 games, he'll still go back to default setting. I mean, can't a player improve again? We lose then suddenly all the players are bad, and Arteta is a worse coach. Like, it's just annoying. NB:.. I'm not against constructive criticism, but mehn destructive criticism looks to me as a troll disguising as arsenal fan. Cos that's how trolls behave. They never comment or give opinions during the good times, but be the first to attack the club/players/coach at the first sight of a loss/draw |

sod09:well, I still think they would have won without the 2nd goal sha. I believe nuno told them to just maintain possession of the ball and hold the ball, while watching their backs (this is to prevent counter attack from us)since they're already winning. If it hadn't entered, I believe they would have rushed us. To me, I think it's a smart move from nuno. |

Seeing the foul given to martial as a pk, yet Saka's wasn't given( saka even has more contacts than that of martial sef) And in our previous match, a stamp on xhaka by Bruno, no card was given too. And the worst part is that var checked both decisions, yet both were waived as if nothing happened. This is just so sad, and I don't know why we're at the end of all these unfortunate decisions |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Spy360(m): 8:47am On Feb 03, 2021 |
Jodera:VAR only viewed it, no decision or call to order. When Saka was fouled by Boly, VAR refused to view. When Lacazette scored, VAR came to life. Jon Moss, Amadioha should look for you this year. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Jodera: 8:51am On Feb 03, 2021 |
Spy360:Exactly, they viewed it and waived it aside, that's why decision wasn't made. That's different from saka own that var refuse to view at all. Like, it's just as if dem just want arsenal to lose ystdy. Even clattenburg said that Luiz red wasn't a red yesterday sef |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Spy360(m): 8:52am On Feb 03, 2021 |
Roland17:We are appealing according to Arteta. Our management also need to start sounding out these refs and call them what they are. Cheats. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Spy360(m): 8:56am On Feb 03, 2021 |
Jodera:My brother, VAR views every incident. But for it to hold, they need to first call the ref to order (suspend play), then check the incident and come up with a decision to either proceed or change the ref's evaluation. In this case as is with Saka's, VAR only 'viewed' but never bothered to call for order. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Jodera: 9:02am On Feb 03, 2021 |
Spy360:but you'll agree with me var suspended play for Luiz incidence, lacazzete play but refuse to suspended play for saka own. That's the "view" I come to understand o. Whether they make a decision after that view is another thing entirely |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Spy360(m): 9:17am On Feb 03, 2021 |
Jodera:The moment VAR calls the ref, he must make a decision. You will always see 'VAR checking' and then something like, 'decision = red card' But none of those and that's because VAR viewed but never checked or called the referee to order. I have watched football since I knew my surname, I understand rules do change but I have seen very few or even never worse decisions in a football match. |

Shout out to the lads for keeping the scores low. Especially for Xhaka, he was matchless. We were by far the better side until Pawson happened. Anyways we move, surely we learn from this and come back better. |

| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Nobody: 11:37am On Feb 03, 2021 |
Jodera:You see the agenda? When Gabriel commmitted and got a Red we no see all these analysis, it’s Luiz now despite being a debatable Red, analysis left right and Centre “Luiz has happened” Just few days ago their MCM committed an own goal few days after returning from a Red no analysis. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Nobody: 11:53am On Feb 03, 2021 |
Jodera:Particularly when it comes from stans of Guen that was dropping a disaster week in week out. Luiz has been a part of our clean sheet string even against top half teams, yet we should stone him to death for a debatable pen/Red coming from Stans of a player that had 1 own goal and a Red in a space of about 3 appearances but pretended like it never happened. The hypocrisy get as e be. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by patrickmuf(m): 12:02pm On Feb 03, 2021 |
Jodera:Yes, he was terribly out of position...Your team was leading by a goal margin going into the break, was there any need for Luiz to be caught out like that? |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Spy360(m): 12:24pm On Feb 03, 2021 |
patrickmuf:He was culpable for the goal not the red card. He didn't deserve the red. Please let's not much things up. |
