Afording a P uni doesnt mean you have money.

Ppl wey get money dey send dia kid go Oxford,Havard, etc.

Most parents sending dia kid to P uni are not rich.

Its better they send dia kids to Fed/state uni and save for their old age.

We mismanage money alot in Nigeira.

One of the reason NigerianS are always poor.

Naija parents are intentionally over spending on edu and the consequence is huge.

In Nigeria lawer, doctors, engnrs, policee men, and various low income earners send their kids to P uni and schools.

How do you expect them to progress.

They also build a house in the city and the village, etc.

We dey wastful for Naija.

We keep learning same things in Nigeria university with just one goal, searching for jobs after graduating.

Must every graduate seek employment, where is the place of Job creation and entrepreneurship that most private universities advocate.
It a this mentality of seeking employments after graduation that has kept most people still jobless years after school.

Unlike the education you got, I got a private University education, Covenant University to be exact and we were not trained to look for jobs but to create jobs. Even if you see a CU student working for a company he is either gathering funds to start up or he is already running his company on a low.
I have never dropped my CV any where for a job and I guess by Gods grace its too late for that.
This your job seeking mentality is what is killing the country. The American government never built America individuals like Ford and his likes built America.
The companies you searching for job in are owned by fellow human. Difference is they sacrificed their time and money to build.
So while most of you young people are thinking of how to get money for Valentine the young man who will employ your kids tomorrow is busy looking for money to start up or exand his company....

Job creation is nobody's job. That's why with all the hardship that's traceable to unemployment the world over, no one has been sued for lack of jobs. Jobs are part of production cycle and when the love of money overtakes a people like we have in Nigeria today, they seek to bypass production which creates job and go directly for money.

Any business that needs huge capital probably won't grow. Start small and grow it to what you desire.

Why didn't no one establish a university in the North-East ? I would have sponsored 20 Nairalanders from the South-East to study in one of such in a cultural exchange with 20 repentant Boko Haram ex members who would study in any the two new South-East established private universities of their choice.
