If your blood relative has ever been kidnapped, you wont say this. It is someone that is alive that has a dream to chase.

Seeing how wretched those bandits look, it's pretty obvious that they're working for powerful kingpins and being paid peanuts. Those kingpins have friends in power and law enforcement and won't be getting exposed or arrested anytime soon. Those that are supposed to provide for us and protect us are folding their arms while violent criminals are having a field day decimating us. Very pathetic situation that the average Nigerian is in.

edo own na collabo. Local criminals kidnap people and hand them over to fulani herdmen that will take them through isrealite journey inside bush. One can be kidnapped in okpella near kogi and be made to trek all day all night and be released in Ore, Ondo State. My cousin was kidnapped by fulani herdsmen in ajaokuta kogi state and released at kabba kogi, more than 30km away. A friend of mine was kidnapped at kaduna-abuja highway and released in minna. Mehn, that is like travelling from benin to cotonou

Security agents and politicians are main sponsors of kidnappers. Bank robbery, oil bunkery and money laundry are no longer lucrative and easy. Most politicians use illegal money to fund elections and flamboyant lifestyles.
TSA, BVN make it difficult for politicians and their fronts in business to steal with impunity. Billions perhaps rillions of naira are idle in accounts without BVN.

State police is the solution to this problem.

They are into sophisticated money laundering. Seriki of Ibarapa had 11 expensive cars in his compound. All of them don’t belong to him...some might be proceeds of crime from Wakilu’s gang.

Ifs strange that no one not even police, bank, military or DSS has traced or tracked the money/ransom since this business started.

They have formed cooperatives kidnapping hundreds of children...some breakaways form their own ‘corner shops’ around and along the express ways. Some move down south to expand and give room to others.

I will not blame the police because they don’t know the terrain inside the bush, they police the highways and the roads, that is their main duty but the vigilante go as far as to the forests supported by hunters who are used to those forests and chase them out but they relocate.

Can't we see the need for community police? A serious govt will find a way to stop all these lawlessness and criminality.

The sponsors (masterminds) are obviously policemen & soldiers, both serving and retired. The IGP ought to have been sacked years ago, unfortunately his tenure has actually been extended.

Nigeria is an extensively garrisoned terrain and ever since the last major war our military engaged in (Liberia/Sierra Leone mid-nineties) all they've done is sleep, chase women and prey on civilians. An idle mind they say is the devil's workshop.

The commanders of these military formations should be held responsible for any kidnapper/terrorist/bandit camps within their operational areas.
