The bulling scenes in some of the k dramas can be so disturbing, I can usually stomach them if there is some form of retribution, otherwise I can actually stop watching a drama if there isn't

What are some of your k drama pet peeves

1. I understand that unrequited love is a real thing but I can't stand it when a character who is 'victim' of one sided love has absolutely no self respect urgh

2. Bullying with no retribution for the bullies omg sometimes I check episode summaries to confirm that some type of retribution occurs and I have actually stopped watching dramas that don't provide one that is to my satisfaction lol

3. Male characters with hairstyles that look like black hair shop synthetic wigs (tend to see this in J dramas). Pictures attached, Yoon Ji Hoo from Boys over flowers' hair used to trigger me so much

4. Misunderstandings that could've been fixed with a quick, basic explanation that get drawn out for like 6 episodes

5. Ok it's not a pet peeve per se but I always find it funny when there's some kind of fight/conflict scene and the background music is some nintendo sounding tekken fight music ok we get it this is a 'bad ass' scene

6. The I can't be with you because I don't want to put you in danger so I'll be mean to you to push you away in my noble bid to protect you etc narrative

LOL 1 of the reasons I dumped bof at episode 3 was the hairstyles, I just couldn't take it, gu jun pyo's hair gave me a headache

When I started dramas a pet peeve used to be eating scenes, I was brought up to eat silently and chew like a human being but I saw these people having full on conversations with their mouth full, spitting rice on people (how won't they get covid lol), anyway I used to hate it but I have realized that is how they are in dramas so I gave up, it's no longer a pet peeve.
