Let us see... grin

Toyota Corolla Vs 8 Units of Bajaj Motorcycle

Unit price of Corolla - #2,200,000
Unit price of Bajaj - #285,000( 8 ) = #2,280,000

Weekly returns for Corolla - #30,000
Weekly return of Bajaj - #8000( 8 ) = #64000

In 10 months (in an ideal situation)

Corolla would have raised - #30000*4*10 = #1,200,000

8 Units of Bajaj would have raised - #64000*4*10 = #2,560,000

Conclusion:
The Toyota Corolla (Tokunboh) is a wrong tool for rental in ehailing.

Investing in Okada business is very risky, because if Lagos state Taskforce catch you? grin
And taskforce must catch okada riders cos their egungun too like express grin cheesy

I have never visited their website. Bros when it comes to site traffic and making money, as long as there is no banner ad or they are not cold calling you to sell you anything. THEY ARE NOT MAKING ANY SHI SHI.
And that is where investors money comes in. They might be getting the company's share for cents of a dollar now. If the business succeeds tomorrow dey don blow be dat. And if it fails, it is what it is.
That is what they might be spending at the moment, investors money.

NB: This is what some guys (Nigerians) that want to compete with Uber and Bolt do not understand. They think it ends with deploying an app on App store, BOOM! And they don blow and send foreign app companies packing.

Ghost1994:
Each time I read how government officials extort Uberbolt drivers, my heart bleeds.

There’re many reasons why these things why we fall victims such as greed, misinformation and lack of concentration

Am gonna try and be helpful on the part of misinformation

Am gonna list some lastma/police/task force/local government touts hotspots

On the island

No parking and stopping on the entire stretch of marina and broad street, the only authorized drop off and pick up point for Uberbolt is oando filling station marina

Also no stopping at CMS bus stop both in front of that church and under the foot bridge.

No stopping or parking on the entire stretch of st Gregory’s road or any of the inner street off the street except you’re dropping Off a resident of that particular street, also no stopping or parking on the entire stretch of awolowo road ikoyi

No parking along that ikoyi passport office road, you can drop off and wait a bit but don’t park and switch off your engine, they have eyes all around

Also if you’re to park on those streets off Alfred rewane be very watchful and don’t sleep off because they patrol from time to time

Eko hotel round about is another place to be very careful about, if you’re sharp you can quickly drop off there and move sharply

Then another problem with Victoria island is that they’re many one way roads which the signs are hidden or not visible, I can’t vividly describe the streets here with texts but once you’re in VI and you’re trying to enter a street look out for signs or better still park and ask to be sure.

The newly built traffic lights at 1st and 2nd roundabout in lekki is a bit confusing, if you’re trying to make a u-turn, look out for the correct sign and turn there, else those lastma and police officers are milking people dry on a daily basis, don’t fall victim pls.

Ajah under bridge is also a hot spot

From Abraham adesanya down to epe is a bit relaxed

Now we come to mainland

First on the list is Ikeja, during the day there’s no safe spot on Ikeja except the inner inner streets of GRA and Allen area, Ikeja is very notorious for traffic offenses so it’s better you avoid them but I’ll still share some hotspots

Kodesoh street inwards GRA, if you’re not turning right towards airport road, don’t stay on the extreme right, it will be termed obstruction and watch out for the traffic light there, they change very fast

Under bridge too,if you’re not sure where you’re going just stay in the middle lane, another thing to note if you must press your phone or receive calls around Ikeja be very watchful too and vigilant

Ade niyi Jones to connect oba akran traffic light, pls don’t try and beat it because those task force policemen on bikes are always there and will give you a hot chase

Airport road, for no reason whatsoever must you stop on the entire stretch of airport road from international down to local, don’t ever ever stop or park, if you wanna pick someone just drive into the car park and wait, don’t try to be smart about it

If you’re to pick a rider at MM1 tell him or get to come in to the car park

If you’re to pick at MM2 you can pick from the arrival pick up point or car park but make sure you don’t pick or drop off a rider when you’re on the zebra crossing, that offense alone Na 50k and most importantly don’t waste time while picking up, if you don’t see the rider yet keep moving and circle round back into the airport until you see him or her

If you’re to pick at international airport tell the rider to come inside the car park not outside oh, it must be inside after the barrier else they will clamp and tow your car away

Most importantly when you’re around Ikeja you should be very smart and watchful and don’t park anyhow

Yaba is another hotspot that you don’t park anyhow on the streets except you go into the inner and isolated streets and also watch out for one way roads, another area notorious for one way roads is shomolu and bariga, I don’t really know much about those areas because I don’t go there

Surulere The traffic light in front of stadium to turn into Alhaji masha road be very careful lastma guys are always on the prowl, there’s also a turning if you miss it don’t try and turn at the next one,if you’re caught no stories oh

Also be careful around aguda area, there’re some no parking zones around there, even if you wanna park just be watchful and smart about it, the local government tours there no get joy at all

So for now these are the ones I can easily remember, the rest places I hardly go to and if I go I don’t waste time and am very vigilant before I leave there

Places like egbeda, agege, iyana ipaja, ayobo, ikotun, ikorodu, abule egbaland, ogba, somolu, bariga, igando I hardly go to these places

Places where you rarely have issues are festac, ago palace way, mile 2,ajegunle,okoko,satellite town, iba

Some other hot zones

Alakija under bridge
Apple junction(not always)
Iganmu bridge

That will be all for now

Stay safe and God bless us all

That Range is a toks and unregistered. The guy came all the way from Benin through one his friend (one guy on white long sleeve shirt with a black jean) to fix one of the security issue in lag before delivery as he said he already have a buyer. No any insurance yet.

As I was dropping a rider off in one of those street around that Pinnacle. A guy walked up to me to help them jumpstart their car. On getting there, the range had already been towed with a towing van. They just need the car to be on a start mode for ease of movement to mechanic workshop. The wheel by the driver side was dangling as it has pulled off from the tirod.

I had to take them to the mechanic workshop to bring him down for check when we couldn't start it before it was towed down.

I so much felt for the Range guy cos he was such a gentle guy with a razz and aggressive friend whom seems to be in total control of his affairs.

The Range guy was later gisting me that his friend put him into all these troubles if only he had listened to him. He said the car had been in the mechanic workshop already only for his friend to say he is hungry. He told him they should take a taxi or bike to an eatery but the friend insisted they take the Range and come back since the mechanic is not ready to attend to them yet. They've not gotten to the eatery before that incident happened.
one of them just scratched me at ikeja under bridge now, I was jejely waiting for traffic light oooo..but what can i do he zoom off to the other side as if noting happened, those guys are something else

The more you know about the vehicle the safer you will be. Run a VIN check and verify critical facts you need to buy a used car with confidence. Check the title status, previous odometer readings and the current market of the vehicle. Do as many checks as possible to ensure you are getting a legitimate offer.

Good day everyone, please I need assistance and suggestions from the gurus in the house.

I drive a Honda civic 2008, the problem is that if I start the car, it will run normally so at some point the airbag light will come up, the gear light will be blinking while the temperature gauge will off. Once this is happening the ac will stop working or blowing hot..

At times if I start it, it will do like that from the starting, I.e. airbag light on, temperature gauge will not come up and gear light will be blinking but aside from all these car running perfectly.

So I took it to the 3rd rewire now only for him to tell me that I will need to replace the brain box.

Please any suggestion on what to do next because I'm fed up....... The scan shows nothing happening to it. Please I'm fed up.

I saw this on instablog, I have stopped believing girls and their stories since I witnessed a lady slap uber driver because he refused to park in front of UBA marina to avoid lastma.

Pretty sure the lady hit the driver and went home with gbomo face. Driver of the year award goes to the driver.

I almost knocked out a lady at Polaris Bank, Igbo Efon some weeks ago. She wanted to make transfer of N600, politely asked if she doesn't have cash, na so the village Ashi vex and was saying shit, threatening that if I don't want the money, she will leave the car without paying. Gently gave her the account details. She was still fuming as she was making the transfer.

As soon as I confirmed her transfer, subtly told her and her friend to "get out of my car". The girls began yapping, again subtly called her "Ashawo kobo". Na so the girl raised her hand from behind in an attempt to hit me from behind. Old G like me wey don experience many wars and beefs in the heart of Malabor. I didn't move my face away to dodge her hand, she just withdrew her hand mid way.

I immediately got out of my car and rushed her for even contemplating what she wanted to do, it's the bank security that came to her rescue. My plan was to punch her in the eyes and tear her stupid top, enter my car and zoom off.

What am I saying? Any woman that raises her hand on you that is not your wife should be thorough beaten. It's called self defense and within your right to retaliate. You are simply not going against the law so long as she hits you first.

Greetings house, do you still get % after bla bla trips on Bolt.

Can't find d % part.
What is left is that weekend do 26 trips n get 4k or so, I can't do 26 trips o.. grin. That's way too much.

Bolt and I are still dragging the one I did that they didn't pay me complete.

Imagine stating that I should complete 35 trips at 8% for all week bonus, as at the time I met the condition my earning is already 56,300 but bolt gave me 624 instead of 4504. At first I didn't realize not until the next day when I sat down to do account because I didn't work that day.

Sent bolt message and they're claiming what they paid me was correct. I told them that minimum amount for a trip is 500 and even if all the 35 trips are 500 each it'll still be more than what they paid me.

I requested for justification/basis of computation but am yet to get any.

I told myself I won't rest until they pay me. They don't want to take responsibility for their mistake.

Please house any number I can call or email I can escalate the matter to? Please help.

Before they start charging commission, they will have to update the app interface to include "ARRIVED" before transitioning to "START TRIP". Else anytime, a rider has to cancel a trip after arriving at the destination, he will be debited for a trip he did not undertake.

No, no difference. Some people shout rust but that's the case with any car from the upper half of the US as well. My Acura MDX I'm driving right now came from New York and I had to rust proof it before driving it in Texas. Anywhere it snows there is rust. It's just a question of how bad and what do you do about it?

Want to avoid rust, buy from southern US states and make sure to check Carfax that it did not come from a northern state.

People buy cars closer to the Port.. If the Port is far away that is another Towing expenses you looking at .. And another thing is finding Tow truck in that area .. Most auction yard will give you about 3days or two days or so to pick up ur car .. Failure to do that you are looking at daily storage fees been charge to your account......
