Fruitless exercise.

Another exercise to enrich the customs officials.

So there is no foreign rice in the North?

Nonsense. How did they get them in?

Was it not through same borders that customs control?

And when they finally sieze the bags of rice won't it end up in the homes of same customs and their concubines as well as side chics.

When you have a backward thinking people in position of authority this is what we get.

Nope they actually do it cos it is entrenched in their constituted actions to raid but many people are fighting against that move cos it makes no sense to go into people's stores to sieze an item that passed through a border that ought to be guarded by same customs.

Why punish people fir their failed duty?

Ironically, Custom Officers from the South West will be used to implement this nonsense. Useful tools indeed!

God is very wonderful. Those who supported and enthroned this government to spite others are now getting the bigger share of buharis insanity.

Custom that can't keep foreign bandits from coming in and can't even raid the Forest for foreign fulani herdsmen now want to break into warehouses to seize foreign rice that will end up in their homes.

that is exactly what they do. If you go to the borders you will find out that Yoruba customs are the people harassing people and one Hausa will be there as their boss standing by one corner.

after seizing them, they send it to the north for re-bag and send it's back to the market and claim is made in Nigeria
Re: Customs Moves To Raid Warehouses With Foreign Rice In Southwest by Redcrafton: 11:50am On Feb 11, 2021
"Also, non-alcoholic wines are liable to seizure. We have factories that produce wines, so we should patronise them to boost the economy.” Col Ali.

What of imported herds from Mali, Chad and Niger? Why can't they be seized? Or don't we have local herds? What about made in Nigeria vehicles and policy somersault on reducing tariffs from imported vehicles?

Nigeria will continue to be punished by the Universe for its cruelty and evil against its citizens because they didn't come from the same region as those in power.

So far all the FG policies have been against the south. From BVM, NIN, closure of border, SARS, removal of tariffs from imported vehicles, stamp duty, VAT, etc, etc.

There is no fairness in the country.

ONLY God will decide when enough should be enough.

Everything is south west, why not raid the fulanis and bandit that kills in southern side of the country
Re: Customs Moves To Raid Warehouses With Foreign Rice In Southwest by Yankee101: 11:54am On Feb 11, 2021

The Government that South West helped to install is hell bent on imposing nothing more than poverty on the West. We warned them, but they listened to Tinubu. Have u ever heard of a raid to take imported items anywhere in the North? Impossible!

cafolu:
After sizing the bags of rice, they will ferry it to their brothers up North to sell and make money off the backs of unfortunate Southerners. It is the same northern thieves/vagabonds/terrorists that will not allow farmers in the South enter their farms and harvest their crops in peace. Ndi sophistication, well done.
