While I won't criticise Hope's move, I'd recommend they sell the school to a private body

About 7 or so years ago, I been go Cambridge area for Massachusetts, I cun hear say Harvard dey around there. I cun go do tourist for there, the fence there, even small pikin go just raise leg small. Some paths there, no fence. Well, for America or UK, fence no too dey weda na house or offices.

Imo state government taking over Eastern Palm University at Ogboko is not a welcome idea. Those in support of such action may regret it as time goes

It doesn't have investors. The money used in building the University and the Land are all State's funds.

The school should be renamed Imo State University Orlu Campus. Owerri campus of IMSU is congested

it's not bad if IMO get more than one state university ...other states have more

IHIEGOD:
how, I was there on Sunday, it is a very sweet architectural masterpiece. But the school is almost empty with less than 1000 students and there are many structures wasting there because of lack of usage. If the state will take it and run it as a business it will be fine.

Another angle is that rochas started it as a state university, got the licence as state university, acquired the land for state university infact he wanted to build IMSU permanent site there but owerri people refused and when he was about handing he gave his errand boys ( imo house or assembly) peanut to convert to his own private university.
