helinues:The problem with you is that you are hardly objective in any matter of discourse. BTW, between Igboho and the Fulani herdsmen which is the lesser evil? The Fulani can freely cause damage to peoples source of livelihood, waste almost a whole community razing it to the ground, butcher fathers and mothers in their sleep, slit the throat of young children who committed no crime. Unfortunately while at it the Governors feign helpless and the presidency keep mute. Is this the kind of nation you want for yourself, your father, your mother and kids? A nation where nobody takes responsibility? It was this vacuum and lackluster attitude of those at the helm of affairs that emboldens the Fulani genocidal attitude, this same scenario threw up people like Igboho because nature abhors a vacuum. Think about this before it gets to you, and know for real that whenever anyone or group of people decides to take laws into their hands and everybody seems to show timidity, such misadventure usually wont take long before nature throw up a greater force to stop such waywardness. If the government had played their role well at the beginning of this Fulani-farmers crisis without showing sympathy or bias, there won't be terror Fulani's in the first place to necessitate an Igboho. |

Tinubu press boys at work trying to tarnish the image of our dear Sunday Igboho. Before now I knew him as someone that fight against injustice. In fact, over a year ago, I saw a movie that was made about his life where a widow that was robbed of her land by a senior military officer, went to Igboho to help recover her land. In the movie, after asking the victim if its true that the land belong to her, he simply went to the military officer to issue him a 7day quit notice. He got the land back for the poor widow. If he is really a terrible individual as Premium Times want us to believe, go online and search for old videos on him. Does this look like what premium times claim. A few terrible Yoruba elites having realize that a new leader has emerged that the people have solidify stood behind are trying their best to influence the mind of the people by casting Chief Sunday Igboho in the negative light. He whom God has elevate can't be brought down by any human. Let me ask Premium Times this question. Where was their masters when the fulani terrorists were attacking and killing yoruba farmers and natives? Sunday Igboho is the new leader we will strongly support. To add some icing on the cake, the history of his family and hometown says they were defenders of the Alaafin of Oyo and Oyo Empire back in the days. Four Alaafin of Oyo are buried in the town of Ighoho. See the video below. Does this suggest an individual that Premium Times want to make us believe. His family has strong ancient root in Oyo. It's not a coincidence that Sunday Igboho is standing up for the Yorubas, not the betrayers and back-stabbers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IUcx9pTDPKM |

kovic20:you better stop laughing at your own ignorance. Its like you are living in canada a coward that disarmed Fulani fighters wielding Ak 47 with his barehand in the seriki's own backyard modern weapon cannot even penetrate him, not even an armor tank. buhari and his dss can't even dare to arrest him cos they knew their limits. He is an extra terrestrial being who made time travel possible and can pull out weapons from thin air. How cool that sounds. ![]() |

damosky12:My point is that the yorubas have been an age long tool in the hands of the northerners to cause division in the south, but the yorubas on the other hand are not helping issues by keeping quiet in the face of such injustice....you guys need to come out and condemn these impersonators hiding under Yoruba to cause division... |

helinues:What have the educated Yorubas done for the Yoruba people lately? Why didn't they show up when the fulani terrorists came to town. So called leaders that have no balls and would negotiate the destiny of their people away. Like they sold our people during the days of slavery. Not anymore. With Sunday Igboho we stand. Where there is no justice, there is no peace. You ain't seen anything yet. Let them continue the injustice. A new set of defenders of the Yoruba people are in the pipeline. Chief Sunday Igboho has proven to us that our ancestors left us enough to stand and defend our ancestral land just as they did in their own days. Did the politicians came out to defend us? Did the pastors came out or did the Islamic cleric came out to stand up against attacks from the Fulani terrorists? No! They all had their tails in between their legs. |

I expect the writer and publishers of this story to do same about all the killer herdsmen and their powerful supporters. They should also publish stories about how Fulani continue to plant serikis in every part of Nigeria contrary to each state's laws on traditional rulers and chieftaincy titles; how the serikis are not responsible to the traditional rulers of their host communities, and seek to grab land. What have they planned to achieve with heading all security forces and using them and Aso Rock to support by silence criminal activities of their kinsmen who are herdsmen? Fulani herdsmen go about with sophisticated weapons killing, maiming and raping and Premium Times is not going behind the scene to unravel the intents and purposes of it all and why Buhari cannot sign an executive order for them to be disarmed but Sunday Igboho must be destroyed at all cost because he is interested in Yoruba people's cause. After all, a dog must be given a bad name to hang it . Of course he is not a saint but Premium Times' much-sought sainthood is soaked in the blood of the victims of its undetected Naccist or Adolf Hitler-styled journalism. No doubt about that any longer. |

helinues:You can't hide your bigotry. Which issue is being resolved amicably? Just today , herdsmen set amotekun van on fire, killed 2 people in the same Ondo. Hate Sunday for what he did during the war but remember that everything is fair in WAR and LOVE... You expected him to sit and be laughing during war ? |

OkoYibo:And the convulsing Fulani herders killed a farmer and amotekun member yesterday in Ondo. The only problem Yorubas have is self-deceit and hypocrisy. This is just the beginning of ur woes and agony in the hands of marauding Buhari's kinsmen. More days to cry for help |
| Re: How Sunday Igboho Rose To Prominence: The Inside Story by EmekaA125(m): 5:42pm On Feb 12, 2021 |
Bighead9:But Nnamdi Kanu successfully founded ESN to keep them in check as many of them will accept ranching in the East. Igbos calculated well since the resurgence of herder-farmer clash this year. Some of the cattle which herdsmen graze about in S'East belong to some Igbo men. IPOB mounted pressure on SE governors to ban open grazing and it was done. It's all about achieving a result in a well calculated approach without giving them eviction notice like the tout Sunday Igboho did. Now, Bauchi governor Bala Mohammed is blaming S'West for not being accommodating. So between Igbo and Yoruba who handled the fulani issue better ![]() |

Then you will tell me if the herdsmen, Buhari and all the Nigeria government officials are not terrorist. Was the covid secret palliatives warehouses not terror? Palliatives meant for citizens. |

SilverNorGold:So it is a " National Issue" for Fulani to go around grabbing other people's land? It is a "National Issue" for herdsmen to go around with AK 47.. And it's a "National Issue" for the same calamity that befell the indigenous people of middle belt to befall Yoruba's? And eventually it will become a mere "National Issue" for Fulani's from the Godforsaken sahel to take over the whole of Nigeria. Some of u are demons that would support anything evil as long as it favours you! |
