I want to get my first iPhone and i plan of getting the 8+.

I told a Friend and he adviced me to be careful as their are lot of Dubai version which is substandard compare to the UK Version


Any advice from your side please, I never use iPhone before and i don't want to go and buy substandard phone or phone i will Leta regret after 1year use

Me na broke guy o and I am not the type that change phone often if no serious issue with the phone.

So with what I'm seeing you're planning on using the phone for 2 years omo no buy 8plus save more and get the XR. The 8plus battery life will not serve you for long if it's for 2 years

The 8plus is a 2600 mAh while the XR is 2900 mAh I for say make u get 7plus it will soon stop receiving the apple Ios if u are the IOS type

I don't really know the price from vendors cause I buy my IPhone from those guys that cart phones

I will prefer new because it's my first iPhone, I don't want to be having issue after 6months of usage

Can 8+ battery take me like a year plus or i should save and get the UK used XR max at 250k.

D XR look small for hand and i don't really like phone that look small on hand

My iPhone suddenly stopped charging when it’s on, it can only charge when the phone is off, how can I overcome this, Although Ive been using a fake cable since October last year, I got an original cable still not charging unless off. I understand your concern on buying a Dubai version iPhone and also your worries on buying used iPhone too, but with you budget of 210k, you can get a premium used *open box iPhone XR 128gb or 256gb on the offerup thread here on NL. Those guys get there phones directly from the US so no more concern of buying Dubai version and as for durability/longevity you can get at least 2yrs with careful usage and still cash in on it afterwards for an upgrade that’s if you wish to.

Ps: open box means phone comes with a retail box and accessories (charger and earpiece) in most cases

it varies, from 5k you can get it unlocked (no chips) goto Alaba.

better still you can do it yourself.

Can someone pls advise if iPhone 4s can accommodate Truecaller. I just tried to download it now and it says otherwise.
