I feel so bad for Willian. He just needs to leave your club at the end of the season and return back to Brazil to spend the rest of his days. |

Really glad for today's match. The exchanges in midfield and in our front line was too good. It's been a long while I enjoyed such interplay in midfield and attack. All these happened cos of the personnel we'd in midfield and attack (ceballos , odegaard, Rowe and saka). I know Arteta might be resting players for Europa, but those personnel really made today's game enjoyable. What's wrong with Willian and Arteta. And why is it that immediately we introduced Willian, we lost hold and control of that game. Willian seem to be everywhere and nowhere. You'll always see him where there's ball, but he'll never tackle, close down or even intercept any ball. Just running upandan. Also, I don't know how Martinelli might be feeling sha. Saka is a Star. He's too good mehn ESR and odegaard are good too. They're so fluid and have this "pass and move" I love about them. Good to see the 3rd goal how we have have up to 5 of our players in the box. Hope we see more of that. Nice game overall.. We move on to benfica |

I know Willian has had a poor season with us and you all know how I feel about his transfer to Arsenal, it should never had happen. That being said, let’s not resort to personal abuses and threat to him and his family. We are Arsenal and should be class fans! I don’t like the idea of storming his page to rain insults and threaten him and his family. Some fans are even taking it deeper with racist comments that are just despicable. Social media has to do a lot more in regulating and managing these interactions and dishing out serious consequences. |

Jodera do you still need proof Arteta don't like youths Martinelli can't even get a minute again and that good for nothing willian is. Wenger and ebening will rather play mediocre players ahead of better ones, Arteta is doing so too. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Jodera: 8:04am On Feb 15, 2021 |
sod09:E surprise me oo. He's just hellbent on using Willian at all cost. How martinelli doesn't sees some minutes this season is beyond me. Arteta ought to be playing more of martinelli to improve him for next season not their willian that's passed his sell date and doesn't even influence games sef. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by mostob(m): 5:03pm On Feb 15, 2021 |
Jodera:I wouldn't conclude yet on Martinelli. The last time Arteta was interviewed, he said Martinelli was complaining of little discomfort and that he didn't want to risk him due to his injury history. Forget Martinelli, na Nelson own dey pain me pass. |

mostob:Seriously, Nelson. Him just disappear, as in we no even hear any news about am sef. Just disappeared under the radar. No injury, no news, nothing Is he playing u-23 sef. Also, did you watch our game esp involving those 3 guys I talked about. Our superior quality shone over Leeds cos those guys have more creativity in them and movements. Little wonder Auba scored 3 ystdy... And in all honesty, he would have scored 5 ![]() |

| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Jodera: 6:00pm On Feb 15, 2021 |
sod09:Lol... I think the personnel that started was really perfect. Two cb that are so good from transitioning passes from back to attacks Ceballos too was good at initiating attacks and giving one touch passes. So it was as if we played 1 DM with xhaka, but ceballos helps in defence too why building ball from back. The first half was great and I wish the cb pairings should be what we should be using going forward till Mari returns |

Jodera:kudos to arteta for fixing our defense. now we longer concede cheap goals like before |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by kodded(m): 7:38pm On Feb 15, 2021 |
but I will have to give kudos to arteta for starting aubameyang infront of ødegard, smith rowe and saka. 3 creative players behind 1 goal poachers was a reminiscent of wengerball. that was the first time I watched total wengerball at it finest under arteta. we completely dominated the game and even Beilsa acknowledged to that fact. I am really happy with the options we have in our attack now. saka, martinelli, lacazette, aubameyang, Pepe, nelson and ődegaard all fighting for the front 4 is quite amazing especially during this congested shedule of fixtures. all that's is set is for partey to return and we have ourselves a very formidable team that can challenge for top4 and europa at the same time |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by mostob(m): 8:42pm On Feb 15, 2021 |
Jodera:Yes.. Nelson is now with the U23. He even scored for them recently. Only God understand his situation. Bro.. yesterday's match was quite interesting. Arteta was spot on with the personnel. You remember I told you our winning that game depends on how sharp Auba is and the guy delivered. Bro... I think Odegaard is made for arsenal. He slot seamlessly yesterday. That Bellerin goal eh... saka 's marauding run, Auba 's chipped cross, ESR holding off his marker and Ceballos ' delicious nutmeg The last time I saw something like that was during Wenger's era. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Jodera: 7:47am On Feb 16, 2021 |
mostob:saka was really a boss on Sunday. Odegaard hasnt ruled out his future away from Madrid unlike ceballos who is keen on playing for Madrid, so if this loan is successful, arsenal might push harder for a deal to materialize. Only thing is that I think Madrid consider him as a future of their club and not zidane. I just hope we see more of this same 11, but the only thing is that I think the team that was set out on Sunday was because of an eye on Europa league. Else this team really complement the strength of Auba |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Jodera: 7:57am On Feb 16, 2021 |
kodded:Yeah... Kudos to him. Good thing is that the Wenger days of big teams hammering us 6-0 and 8-2 is now a distant memory. We just need to click in our attack and everything will be awesome. One thing I notice is, no matter how Luiz disappoints, sometimes (red card, needless fouls or pk), he's still an integral part to that defence and to Arteta's style of play. He has all the attributes and leadership qualities for the manager's style of play. I just hopes Arteta works on his attack movement and system more |
