That's why I made mention of scale of preference.
I fly regularly in and out of d east and I'm even in Ebonyi now,came via a flight and I rarely see our Ebonyi ppl at Enugu airport.

We just need airports in Lagos, Abuja and enugu. Maybe Kano and Port Harcourt

We can link the rest of the country by rail or road to these airports.

My comment is not meant to insult any one's state or tribe. It is made because all over Nigeria there are airports that are not making back the money they spent on then. Don't want ebonyi to fall into that trap either.

In developed countries, almost every state got their own airport and here you are canvassing for one airport for 10 states!!!

Where in this world are granite and lead transported by air?
How is the airline going to break even?
If rail is not available then the other option is by road via trucks or waterways.
Cargo flights are meant for electronics, medical supplies, food and occassionally animals like cows,luxury cars,military equipments, goods and merchandise but never granite or such.

Well owerri airport is operating just fine too,after all everywhere is usually booked during festivities like Christmas, so it should solve those issues since igbos travel alot

As at today no airport in south east generates enough money to cater for the operational expenses of its airports . FAAN gets from the surplus of the other three airports to make up for the deficit of Enugu. Same with owerri. The data is out there for all to see. Igbos travelling a lot has not translated to high revenue or traffic in both owerri and Enugu airports. The infrastructure in both airports are not top notch
