Cattle rearing is a private business, just like selling head lamps at Oshodi....

There are Yorubas too in the business eg. K1 the Ultimate, Obasanjo farms etc. but you don't see them moving around and killing people to feed their cattle.

The excesses of Fulani must be checked else there will be implosion and militancy across zones in Nigeria.

The worst part is the Military they are using for their heinous activities and intimidation of indigenes. Brings the question that are we really one in this country?

Not a bad solution to the numerous challenges the fake unity entity called Nigeria is going through and I don't think any better solution can come out aside this profound solution called disintegration. We are too divided to remain one or be called one people.

If it will bring peace, ie better.
There is too much of ethnic divides.
This is causing too much hate speech and heating up unnecessary tension.

Nigeria is now moving towards disintegration now that the herdsmen/Fulani are now getting reprisal attacks. Where was Abdusalam when the herdsmen were having a killing spree.

Sir your comments are well noted. However the oil republic of Nigeria may end with the oil doom. Thereafter may be disintegrated units or a better founded nation in search of fresh and properly determined paths. In all may God help us.

I like his approach. He knows there is no president in Nigeria, hence, he calls on the Governor to take up the responsibility and stop living in denial of the reality.

Hmmm! Everybody is tired of this mess.

Of course we are. People way day use cow piss baff , day rape women and girls, and do sodomy with men. In the end kill them, Or the one if you tell them something "Hey this is not good", them go use speed go burn church. Shay e make sense like so?

Too many things brought about these things. Its best we lead separate ways and put visa regulations on ourselves. Someone like Me , Fulani should get ready, if i become president , the Highest visa they would get is 5 days valid visa (Business Visas) for $25,500 as Visa Application fee , Handling and Caution fees to be paid to government. And the visa will take several weeks to process say 5 - 13 weeks. The visa application will be scrutinized in such a way that all documents they provided will be re-verified by their government and if one thing is false, that $25,550 them fit loose am. All re-verified copies will come from their government bodies and it must match according to what the person submitted for visa application.

They do not go to school, neither do they want to work, so no study permit or Work permit for them, nothing like even residence permit as well.
Just buy what you want and go. So since most of them can apply to buy goods from the other country, let them do so, and in 5 days they leave the country immediately. Otherwise my government will detain them and they pay deportation + Air ticket Fees (Which will run into several thousand dollars too, starting from $150,000 depending on numbers of days they overstay). And if they cannot pay Nko, relax, na life jail sentence for underground prison for attempting to overstay in my country illegally. Which is a grave offence. The end goal is - I don't want Fulani in my country so anyone coming, and they have ulterior motives, should forget it. They should stay in Arewa.

Since they want to really be treated like animals , I will be of help smiley

A former military Head of State, General Abdulsalami Abubakar, has warned that the country may disintegrate if Nigerians do not remain calm and united in the face of recent challenges.

While expressing dismay over the recent attacks in parts of the country, Abdulsalami called on governors to take full responsibility for managing the divergent voices and frustration in their states that could fuel disunity, anarchy and disintegration.

“As if the continued insurgency in the country, the kidnapping and armed robbery is not cup full, the recent happenings in some part of the country of ethnic attacks are unfortunate and adding to the problems,” he stated.

Abdulsalami, who is the Chairman of the National Peace Committee, told journalists on Tuesday at his Minna home that there was the need for all Nigerians to come together to overcome the current challenges being faced.

He said, “In the last two weeks or so, tension has been growing in the country and embers of disunity, anarchy and disintegration are spreading fast; and if care is not taken, this might lead us to a point of no return.

“We at the National Peace Committee wish to add our voice to the voices of millions of Nigerians calling for calm in these difficult times.

“These times demand that we all join hands to resolve our challenges so as to keep our country united. We do not have the luxury of trading blames.

“Thousands of our people are homeless and refugees across the length and breadth of their own country.

“We know the difficulties that our farmers have faced in the last few years and that harvesting will be a serious challenge this year. Therefore, let us all rally together in these hard times, make the required sacrifices and remain vigilant by standing by one another.”

Abdulsalami also appealed to governors of the various states to sheathe their swords, adding, “They should tone down their rhetoric and take full responsibility for managing the divergent voices and frustration within their states.

“It is true that we are all in a state of fear and collective anxiety. However, the last thing we need is for the enemy to sense a lack of unity on our part or a break in our ranks.”

He urged the new service chiefs and the Inspector-General of Police to rise up to the urgent demands of the moment, saying, “You need to rally your troops and design the best strategy for ending this tragic war that has continued to consume and destroy the foundation of our dear country.”

“We hope that based on their field experience in this war, they can draw up a well coordinated programme to ensure that all our resources are deployed to achieve the much needed victory in this avoidable war.”

General Abdulsalami Abubakar hear this !

What did you do to stop the seeming disintegration during your time as Head of State?

You foisted on Nigeria the 1999 constitution that was purely Unitary in a country that has regional and diverse settings.

Now you are issuing CROCODILE TEARS warning.

If it disintegrate we will take it like that.

Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia and former USSR disintegrate and they are still living peacefully apart.

Eritrea, South Sudan etc are countries that broke and they are still living with the country they break away from peacefully as neighbours.

NO SHAKING.

The major project in a country should be to advance the course of social development and to ensure the upliftment of the living standards of the citizens! A country shouldn't be all about keeping it together, killing and maiming to guarantee it's existence, to the extent the existence of the country becomes even more important than the existence and quality of lives of the citizens! The contract is that the state serves the people, and the people fight for the state! A useless country is actually the worst curse to her citizens! The country exists for the citizens not the other way round. In essence, the importance of the country depends on the usefulness of such union to the human beings living in the country.

But here, in this convulsing amalgam, we always talk about Nigeria like an abstract! As if the country exists alone or in a vacuum. It's as if Nigeria is god.., some kind of deity that deserves daily obeisance, irrespective of its alarming shortcomings... Nobody queries the obviously utter uselessness of the country to her bemused citizens.. We fought to keep it one, die everyday to keep it one, struggle to keep it one, yet our lives get worse everyday! If the country can't help improve the quality of lives of the citizens and can't advance the course of social justice, what's the essence of it's tortuous existence then? Or are we going to fight another war to reinvent a false union that only works for a totally corrupt bunch of criminal elite?
