Thanks for the reply. So I should contact First Bank and the funds will be returned to the shop owner operating the Ria right?

Please my Brother accidentally sent Dollar to a Euro First Bank Domiciliary account through Ria in a shop in Europe. I haven't gotten the alert because Euro account can't accommodate Dollar.

Is it that the transaction was not successful at all or can my bank do anything about it?

It happened to me sometime ago. Pound Sterling sent to my then Skye Bank USD domiciliary account was returned to the sending organization... without any action from me! Only got to know about the failed transaction via the sender.
