Please I saw a realme 6s 6gb/64gb and it's specs really interests me. But my friend who uses Redmi Note 9s says it's better I get 9s because it uses a Snapdragon processor. Please I need advice because I hope to buy by Wednesday. Thanks

Final decision ultimately depends on you cause both devices outshine each other in some aspects.

They both have very capable processors and unless you're into tweaking the mediatek processor should be a non factor.

Redmi note 9s has a better build, better battery and very likely a better back camera cause a generic sensor is used to make the realme 6s back camera

Realme 6s has 90hz refresh rate and a high touch sampling rate too which will improve gaming on it, it has faster charging (30w against 18w) even though it has a smaller battery and power hungry chipset, I believe the fast charging should cancel these out

It'll be easier to get Redmi note 9s accessories locally than it'll be to get that of the realme

Realme 6s will most likely get up to android 12 while the 9s stops at 11.

It's now up to you to make your decision

I think there is a someone who wants to sell a brand new realme 7, why not go for that? Not all mtk chipset are bad, that notion is old. I use Realme 7 8/128 and it's marvelous. Although there are advantages for Redmi Note 9s like arguably a better camera, availability of accessories and MIUI which is far better than realme UI but for me, 90hz refresh rate and faster charging (your phone charges in just over an hour) trumps that.

check Xiaomi thread store on technology market. I get almost 12 hours screen on time on 90hz refresh rate. It's slightly lower on weekends because I watch live matches all day. MIUI is marvelous and that's the only thing am missing since moving from Redmi Note 9, the Realme UI seems underwhelming. No themes app so I can't change my fonts, no floating windows and I miss having mi control center. Hopefully realme UI 2.0 will fix some shortcomings.
