I'm very sorry for the late response. What you need is a request letter from the company which you will submit to NYSC. You can refer to my telegram channel to download NYSC letter samples. Link is on my signature.

thanks bro. Again I need you to help me with this predicament. The deadline fr reporting to my new state is next week Tuesday and I have a company willing to hire me and serve under them but I'm yet to collect my request letter from them till next week, probably on Monday. Let's assume I exceeded the deadline without reporting to my state and then a day or days after I come to report with my request letter, what will happen, will they still accept my request, will there be any sanctions? Bcoz if I report without my letter of request dey will just post me anywhere and I don't want that. Help!

Yes ,very easy
Nysc rule states that they must give you accommodation or t fare and a decent renumeration
Try to convince them to reject your talk with your LI
Use t fare as a good reason and security

I won't say how much I went with....I probably can't remember exactly anyways but I would advice you to budget as per the following...

Average guy (not so rich not so poor) - 500 per day = average of 11k to 15k... If you want to eat one meal a day at mammi (2 meals at the camp kitchen).

Ballin' - 1500 per day - eat all your meals at mammi with cold drink to go with it = 30k should be ok. If you want to be chasing girls and taking them to shawarma joints every night or treating 'your boys' to a chilled beer every other night, Just double or triple your budget.

Manager (managing yourself) lol - 100naira per day...spend the whole day in the kitchen (you might not even get to spend it so save it and buy 200 Naira suya in Saturdays with chilled Coke) = less than 5k should be ok

Remember you will get your first allowance in camp... Along with your bicycle/transport allowance

You also need money to make alterations to your uniform if needed, to charge your phone if light isn't constant in your camp, to buy bucket, etc etc.

So make allowances for unexpected expenses.

**updated 06/05/17** with inflation and current economy your budget should probably double!

So that means you can drink alcohol on camp ��

I understand you perfectly, I was in the same boat last year, I missed 2020 batch B due to the lockdown and had to painstakingly wait for the next batch, words can't describe the ecstasy I feel being a part of this batch, one just needs to move through life with purpose else you'll lose your mind.

I'll advise you to tender a little patience pending when the date for the next batch will be announced.

Hello everybody, pls a friend asked me a questions that i really don't know the answer to, he was a serving corp member 2017 but had an issue during the 6th month and couldn't complete his service year, what can he do to get his certificate?? Please anybody with ideas should contribute thanks

Please can a married woman use two surnames (husband surname and my maiden name) in my change of name (newspaper) and also is it acceptable by the nysc?

***added 07/02/16 - I am so happy that this thread has actually helped out thousands of people...people commenting, answering and helping each other and those viewing in ghost mode We have literally gone from just NYSC camp related experiences to JAMB to all sorts..lol... Gives me goosebumps (Err...maybe not...but..) Thanks to everyone that has helped me out. Couldn't have done it without y'all. Remember, if you need me to address any questions just say my NAME and I'll come running (well...not literally)...and hopefully I'll know or help you find out the answer. Cant answer any questions on JAMB though

So looking to open a whatsapp group so that you guys can get help and answers real time and also easily link up with any Corp members in your state. Eg: if you have just arrived at camp and need a question answered real quick...that type of scenario. If I get 20 or more people show interest, I will open it. Just let me know. Tag me with your number!!! It should be a platform that can help with job opportunites, further education (home and abroad) CV building and mentoring, etc

Pls I need your help..... I recently did a surgery on my knee..... 28/nov/2020 and I’m still on rehabilitation. I did the surgery in a private hospital tho. Now I already have my medical report from the hospital.

The problem is they said nysc doesn’t collect medical report from private hospital.... pls what can I do?

If you can convince your LI to reason with you,it gonna be a piece of cake to change,you also need to convince your employers(PPA) though.

NOTE:- on the PPA side don't use excuses like ;no accommodation or Monthly payment,rather make them see reasons why you can't be effective in such organization (u can use health reasons or some pseudo reasons)

This isn't working for me o, I got a call from my school that they couldn't verify my record, that I had to do regularization if I want to serve.

Many of us will have to wait for the next batch. Monday and tuesday won't be enough for update and corrections. Just comot mind for batch a. It wasn't revealed by flesh

yeah, your biometrics are gonna be captured and a cafe would be the best option.
