We in the diaspora are massively following suit, my area of interest and investment plans is in the IT/Tech sector in the East.

He is surely a great man, I like Nnewi people and their think home initiative.

At the part in bold, is that a cement bagging company or a cement manufacturing complex? I wonder why Igbo businessmen are not going into cement production big time, Nkalagu is still lying idle till today despite being the first cement production facility in Nigeria.

Refinery and cement are critical sectors of any economy, and we have allowed the Northerners to monopolize it.

Igbos have done marvelously well in clawing back to the top after the devastations of 1966-70. However, a lot more still needs to be done. Nigeria has become highly volatile in recent years, and any Igbo man investing anywhere outside Igboland is putting his investments at serious risk.

I'm surprised that Ibeto is yet to commence full cement production at Nkalagu. What exactly could be the problem?

We are doing very well in many sectors of the economy but lagging behind in critical sectors like cement and oil refinery.
