No pun and no insults to all the hardworking Akwa Ibomites and Cross Riverians but this is my problem with alot of men from Akwa Ibom and Cross River extraction. Most of them like big positions, but they're lazy, unenterprising and love jolification. Yet they don't like working. You'd see their women working very hard while the men waste away seeking juicy govt positions, but gambling, eating like glutton or drinking to stupor and then lazying about all day long and when there's no money again, they cry and complain.

This assumption about Akwa ibom is 100% wrong. I don't know where you are getting your facts and figures from but it is wrong. Akwa ibom men are hard working lazy no cuz no food for lazy man.

I am a grand son, I've always been to Akwa Ibom right from the late '80s till date. I'm married to an Akwa Ibom woman, I have to did my masters in Akwa Ibom (Uni Uyo). I've ran various environmental research (EIA) in many parts of Akwa Ibom, so I know exactly what I say. Also, read in between my comments very carefully and slowly next time.
You are not talking to a baby but a mature mind.

I still insist, alot of Akwa Ibom and Cross River men are lazy. Deadbeat men. All they know is to drink, eat, merry, gamble impregnate ladies while still in their parents home feeding from their aged parents. I've seen their women carry sand, water, cement during building construction while their men are at home. It happened when I was building my own house and also I've witnessed it in many other construction sites.

He has not paid the protesting magistrates. He rather looked for a way to remove them not only from the protest ground but courts with a promise to see what he can do. The other time I read that one of his aides resigned for receiving salary without work. Now this one is threatening to take his life. When we have legislators that are doing yes sir yes sir for the governor ...

Ayade will pay for these! He claims he has tested poverty before. So he sees how it is to have money? State funds that are misplaced. Apart from political appointments what employment, pensionable, has the short man made since his inception as governor. In fact, since he joined politics?

He got a loan to get a job


If he had been selling food he would have fared better.

Freeman G, you even sang a music for Governor Ayade back then. Quite a talented Ogoja artist, maybe you should have stuck a little to push your music and get paid to perform for these politicians instead of collecting audio appointment. Don't kill yourself my brother, better days ahead.

Yeah, thought I read about the appointment of up to 300 aides in one instance, less than 2yrs ago.

On a lighter note, so that governor's budget of "peristaltic cataclysm" does not even factor in the salaries and entitlement of aides to warrant one frustrated one contemplating suicide?

This is the bane of Nigeria: men lacking both vision and good conscience positioned in strategic places working tirelessly, like the devil their father, to hold us down or drag us back.

People asked why he didn't resign while I think the proper question should be why did he take up an appointment as the aide of a governor with almost 400 others in what has turned out to be a huge clownish stunt. Well, it takes real wllpowe to walk away from such madness and I suspect dude stayed put because he thinks government can, at worse owe but is certain to pay. Guess he's learning hard lessons with the situation his family is as well as the debts/loan he secured to facilitate his appointment.

I empathise with him and hope his threat of suicide could force a payment of his arrears so he can find something sane and decent to do with his life.

This assertion is not true. Akwa Ibom men are known to be independent and hardworking.

They own is better here in Imo State our own governor Hope will choose to reduce their salary first and then not pay them and at same time sack @100workers .

You must be delusional. I'm a Yoruba, my mother is also an Uyo born and bred. May I reiterate it at this point that I am more akwaIbom than you most probably so I don't know where you got the 'ibos' tag from.
