The standard Yoruba is not indigenous to any town in Ondo state. Everyone has their own distinct variant of Yoruba.The Akure Language is closely related to Ijesha and Ekiti. Akoko have their own numerous dialect. Ondo town and the neighborhood speak what we call Ondo language.
