Jodera:
Na the conundrum of Arteta be that oo.

Uses nketiah as back up striker while not giving balogun chance

Gives Willian chance after chances while limiting martinelli's play even wen he saw his standout performance against man city and Chelsea this season.

Prefer to use willock, willian and even laca as a 10 wen we have ESR waiting since. Thank goodness for Providence.

Only God knows if he would have even used saka if Emery didn't unleash him and saka made himself indispensable last season. Perhaps we would still be hanging on to willian and Pepe this season while saka would have been watching at the sidelines.

I don't just know weda he has eyes for wrong set of players or he can't just spot right players

Lol... I've been very angry with his decisions lately na why I see your point now. His kind of subs especially, it's getting frustrating.

Well, I know teams are very strong in Europa, but I'm still putting my small hope there. For this season, I don't want to be too harsh on Arteta, but as from next season.... Mehn!!!

Whyhuh I don't understand.

I thought the reason we're going to play at Athens is because it's not a hotspot for covid

Hmmm... Na to look for another home ground be that oo

The UK Government is serious about stopping the spread of
coronavirus from people coming into the country and their
latest decision affects Arsenal.
The Gunners will travel to Athens for their Europa League
round of 32 return leg against Benfica.
They will now have to quarantine for the next 10 days after
they arrive back in the UK.
This is because the Boris Johnson-led government has
refused to grant an exemption to elite sports as the country
tries to curb the spread of the killer disease.
The new guidelines have been sent to Premier League teams
with Sky Sports reporting that players may train and play
matches when they return to the UK, but they will have to self-
isolate for 10-days outside their work setting which means
they will only leave their house for the elite sport environment.
They can halve their quarantine time if they test negative to
covid-19 5 days after their return to the country.
Sky Sports reveals: “The rules state that anyone who goes on
international duty must remain in their sporting bubble at all
times while away, in order to avoid a spell of unconditional
isolation once they return.
“If a player exits the national team’s bubble – to visit friends
or family – that will invalidate their quarantine exemption and
they must self-isolate for 10 days.
“The latest guidance also removes the quarantine exemption
for new signings, as well as managerial and coaching
appointments.
“It will have a direct impact on teams involved in European
competitions this week.
“Chelsea play Atletico Madrid Bucharest in the Champions
League on Tuesday while Manchester City face Borussia
Monchengladbach at the Puskas Arena in Hungary on
Wednesday.
“Arsenal travel to Greece on to play Benfica for the second-
leg of their Europa League last-32 tie on Thursday due to
Portugal being on a ‘red list’ of countries drawn up by the UK
government.”

I am looking forward to Arsenal just playing domestic football next season. It will be a kind of relaxing mood.

in as much as I want to agree with you, but I think that's not a right choice.

If we can't get champions league spot, then Europa suppose to be the sure bet. In group stages, we can use our young stars and unearth new gems if possible. For we to know who martinelli, ESR, balogun and saka are is because of Europa. Not only will it give our main squad needed rest but it'll also giving playing time to these youngsters. Arteta sha is the one misusing Europa group stage cos our main squad isn't suppose to travel to those games at all not to talk of featuring

I also agree with you but you and I know that it won't work. We have too average players to pursue multiple competitions.

Look at Aston Villa, they don't have a big squad but they do well by playing same 11 which makes them a tight knitted team. They can do so because they have almost one week of rest inbetween games.

So for one season we can forget Europe and just quietly play only PL and finish top 4 jejely. This will make us offload lots of deadwoods.

Hertha Berlin boss Pal Dardai says Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi has to ‘learn like an animal’ and compared his development as a footballer to a teenager going through puberty.

Guendouzi, 21, was exiled from the Arsenal squad following football’s restart last June, joining Hertha on a season-long loan deal during the summer transfer window. The Frenchman has started 14 of Hertha’s 22 Bundesliga games this season but according to Dardai, he has still some way to go before he fulfils his potential. ‘It’s like puberty for him, he’s kind of a rebel.’ Dardai told Bild. ‘He has to work and learn like an animal.’

Guendouzi was at fault in Hertha’s 3-0 defeat to RB Leipzig on Sunday, losing possession inside his own box minutes after coming on as a substitute with Nordi Mukiele lashing home his side’s second as a result.

‘In training, I always stop these kind of duels because you can’t fall to the ground like this. And, afterwards, he’s mad,’ Dardai said of the incident. Guendouzi’s discipline has been questioned on a number of occasions since joining the Gunners in the summer of 2018, coming to a head in June when he appeared to grab Brighton striker Neal Maupay by the throat during an ill-tempered Premier League clash.

The midfielder has not featured for the club since, failing to make the matchday squad again that season having also reportedly left the Arsenal staff unimpressed following an internal disciplinary meeting following the incident. Guendouzi is also said to have got in a heated row with Mikel Arteta during a warm-weather training camp in Dubai in February last year
This is what I've always complained about Guendouzi while he was playing for us, from what Hertha Berlin gaffer is saying up there seems the frenchman is not learning at all

This up here is what caught my attention. If he's mad cos someone is correcting him, then really, he has a very very long way to go at the top. Him never get talent like messi and Ronaldo but he's having arrogance like Ibra.
So so bad.

As in..... I just weak mehn . Even me not being a professional footballer or coach it’s appalling seeing him hug the ball , delay the pass to other attacking players and wait till u get fouled (which most times do not happen because the regress usually wave off the challenge as being fair ).

Even Sterling with time has learnt to use that style to his advantage by listening to correction of coaches he’s played under.

How will Guendouzi learn if he won’t listen to correction sef ?

E tire me for the guy too.
Sterling like you said was raw, but see how guardiola molded him into a fearsome player. And that's also due to the part that his listening and open to learning

Guen's indiscipline

--- Mocking a professional player's wage/salary

--- Refusal to publicly apologize when told to do so by his team's coach

--- Had a bust up with said team coach at a tour in Dubai

--- Getting Mad for being corrected.

All these things (to me) boils down to the fact that he's stubborn and always claim that he is right.
If someone he's close to (either friend, family or colleague) don't call him to order, then I'm afraid we might not see him at the top for a long time
