The Nigerian Army has recovered the remains of four soldiers allegedly killed by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in Orlu, Imo State.

A vehicle damaged during the attack has also been found.

A top military source confirmed the development to PRNigeria on Wednesday.

IPOB militia had ambushed the soldiers on the escort of the Director of Civil Affairs, Brigadier General H. E. Nzan.

General Nzan and an Army team were on an inspection trip to the Civil-Military Project at Nkwerre.

The attackers took away the slain soldiers’ rifles and their vehicle.

After the incident, a joint operation was carried out in Orlu by the Army, Air Force and the Police.

On Monday, troops arrested 20 alleged members of IPOB over attacks on security agents.

Meanwhile, spokesperson of the Nigerian Army 82 Division, Colonel Aliyu Yusuf has condemned footage on an alleged plan by soldiers to attack women and children in Orlu Market.

Yusuf said the fake video is being circulated on social media to hoodwink the public.

If Nigerian army tells you four were killed just multiply it times 3 then you will get the actual result or more.

4 dead bodies recovered, no one knows how many dead bodies that havn't been recovered yet and maybe the ones buried in shallow graves.

The little twist I will add are as follows
There will be no military or police checkpoint in Imo state as it is currently a security zone. Any police or military man caught by ESN at those Imo checkpoints may loose their lives or arrested and brutally dealt with.

If the security forces attack ESN in any of the other eastern states, checkpoints will be banned in those states and those that man them risk being killed or captured.

No checkpoint in the east must be used as a base for extortion, as ESN may pay a visit to such a checkpoint with the intention of neutralising those military extortionists

They will always tell you that IPOB killed Nigerian Soldiers. But they will never show you the bodies, tell you their names or how the Soldiers were killed

They will only say that IPOB killed Soldiers because they know some people will believe whatever they are told, even without any evidence
