Things and Times have changed now.... To have our own country as yorubas is more than relying on how we've progressed in time past but we need to face crucial issues like Port, definite geographical boundaries, perfect in flow of food and other things.

Just 6 states... I swear we will starve as most of our people are known for white collar job especially we the younger generation. Or else some state in the north central like decide to join us and of course I don't see that possible. What about international recognition... are we gonna get that... Anyways lemme inform you that if we are to go by 6 SW states

1. Geographical boundaries can ever be issues we have the EKITIS, Ondos, Owos, Ikales, Oyos, Ijesha, Igbomina, Egba, Ijebu, Ikare etc. All this clan we have their own state so the geographical boundaries can ever be problem

2. Port can never be a problem We already have Lagos, we can develop one in Ondo and Ogun state also because they borders waters.

3. Flow of food can never be a problem, Ekitis are well known for Yams, Casava is well known in Oyo, Ondo has cocoa/Palm oil, we have plenty of mineral resources, infact food is the least worries that can happen to Yoruba. There is almost nothing that can't be grown here

4. Which international recognition are you taking about, it seems you don't know the human resources we have in South west.
London currently is being regarded as the 2nd home of Yorubas check their mayors, majority are Yorubas.


The West can be fine on her own
We lack nothing

5. We also have Oil and Gas that can power us
