Those people you mentioned were they separatists? As far as I know they were anti colonialists just like Nnamdi Azikiwe and Obafemi Awolowo. Mahatma Gandhi was never fighting a break away India and Indian people were with him, Nelson Mandela was never fighting for his Khosa people to break away from the rest of South Africa, but he was fight for the freedom of black South Africans and they were with him. Benjamin Franklin was also fought for American freedom from the royal kingdom of Britain. Comparing the above mentioned names with Nnamdi Kanu instead of Zik and Awolowo is foolishness.
