Most yorubas have abandoned farming. Most farmers in yoruba land are foreigners or non- indigenous citizens of nigeria. Togoleses, beninoises, egede, tapa, igbiras, eguns are mostly farmers you see in yoruba villages . Often , they are at the centre of conflict between herders and farmers. Many of the foreigners are illegal immigrants and police use crisis to extort from herders and foreign farmers. Yoruba farmers are victims too.
